Then she remembers it was the boy who always met the Sully family. It made sense that Lo'ak might meet him again. At night when Eylan and Yomiting were asleep with Artsut. Tiva stalked Lo'ak and found the scientists who are friends with Na'vi. They spoke with Spider and the scientist with a language she didn't understand.
Dr. Grace Augustine's body lay suspended, pale and unmoving. Kiri stood before it, silent, her hand pressed to the barrier as if listening for something only she could hear.
Meanwhile, dead Miles Quaritch was reshaped into a Na'vi body from data he stored in a chip that gave him knowledge about the past and his mission, to kill Jake Sully. No one knew what danger might come after that.
Still, Tiva sensed something was not right. When Lo'ak and Kiri walked out with Spider and Tuk she noticed a bunch of Avatar Na'vi military captured them. She couldn't hear the conversation properly.Yet , She decided to do something. When the army was too focused on the kids she stole the guns and cut the wires. Then she saw Jake and Neytiri come to save their kids. It was a huge fight that she couldn't see because of the dark
. But she saw Neteyam hit Quaritch from the arrow when Quaritch tried to attack Neytiri. Neytiri didn't even care about Spider and took Lo'ak, Kiri and Tuk. Meanwhile, Tiva got Spider out of the mess and ran without getting caught. Her heart beats fast thinking she might get caught.
Then she treated Spider's wounds and placed him in a cave far from the Ometikaya clan. Little did she know the danger was there right before she entered the clan. When Tiva just entered there Neytiri slapped her furiously. Jake was also furious to make her frightened further. Even Neteyam was mad enough to slap her.
" You gave information to our enemies." Jake said.
" "What? No! I saved..." Tiva stopped the sentence because Neytiri was there.
" Then where did you go at night?" Neteyam asked.
"To help him! He was wounded. I hid him from the sky people—"
" hid who?" Neteyam asked getting confused and didn't believe her either way.
Yomiting stepped forward, tears streaming down her face—perfect, tears. "She's lying."
Everyone turned.
Yomiting pointed a shaking finger at Tiva. "She came to me. Weeks ago. Said she wanted revenge for her parents. Said she'd find the sky people herself. I told her no. I told her to stop. But last night... I saw her talking to them. She was giving them information. I was too scared to say anything."
Tiva's blood went cold. "That's not true! Yomiting, why would you—"
"I have the proof!" Yomiting pulled something from her pouch. A small, metal device. A radio earpiece. "She dropped this. I was going to give it to you, but I was afraid she'd hurt me."
The clan gasped. Tiva stared at the object. She had never seen it before in her life.
"She's the snake," Yomiting sobbed. "Not me."
Now Tiva's protests are useless. Every word she says—"I didn't! She's lying! It's her!"—sounds exactly like what a trapped spy would say. She looks at Eylan, her best friend, and sees confusion. Doubt. Eylan doesn't know who to believe.
" I thought you were my best friend," Eylan said.
"The assistant forgot her place," Artsut said coldly. "A spy, seeking revenge for her parents."
Neytiri's grip tightened around Tiva's throat.
Tiva couldn't speak. Couldn't breathe. Couldn't defend herself. The truth was locked inside her, useless.
The tsahìk tore the songcord from her neck.
Exile.
"Go away,bitch" Kiri spat, her voice raw with rage.
Tiva did not argue. She turned and ran into the dark, carrying nothing but shame.Tiva looked at Yomiting one last time. Yomiting's tear-streaked face held a secret. Just for a second, the corner of her mouth twitched.
A smile.
" Fine, I will leave" Tiva said
After that one cared if she lived or died there. She wiped her tears and ran further. She had enough.Then she was already in the place where she kept Spider. Tiva kept crying, unable to understand what was happening there.
Eylan felt someone close to her was a snake. Yomiting wasn't surprised; she was rather happy. Eylan couldn't shake the feeling Tiva would ever even betray her own clan.
Neteyam was furious that he missed there was a back-biter in his clan. and it almost put his family to death.
He hated Tiva after that with all his heart and thought to kill her if he met her again.
As a result Jake decided to protect his family by leaving the Ometikaya. Which made everyone furious again but agreed to Jake anyway. Jake named a new leader and went to Metakyina.
Tiva couldn't help feeling mad at herself for going to fight again. But Spider was still wounded. She treated him and protected him. She sensed she could trust Spider. She looked outside and saw Yomiting and Eylan riding Ikrans up above the sky. She thought they were going somewhere.
" Now everyone hates me" Tiva muttered, being devastated.
It was noon. She saw the wounds all over her body. That pain didn't even feel like what's inside. Someone else had betrayed the clan—she knew it—but truth had not saved her.
Tears came to her again with anger and sadness. Then she heard Ikran's sound. To her surprise it was Neteyam's Ikran. She ran thinking Sully's saw her and Ikran followed her that banshee wasn't mad at all. Then she saw dire horses running, she was weak and sat on a stone. Neteyam's Ikran was too close to her.
" Fine.. don't kill me. I didn't do anything"
Ikran was desperate for something. Tiva couldn't understand why. Then she realized Neteyam's Ikran wanted something to be done by her.
" Your Na'vi brother is gonna kill me."
Ikran made sounds. She didn't understand them because no one taught her about them. Then Spider came to them, awake. Completely surprised to see Neteyam's Ikran all alone.
" He says he needs you to ride him," Spider said in Na'vi language, understanding Ikran's sounds.
" What? I didn't complete Iknimaya and my clan kicked me out" Tiva said with a madness mixed with frustration.
" What? Really?" Spider asked from a surprise. " You're the one who got saved me"
" My father has become a hybrid Na'vi." Spider confessed with a hesitation thinking his reply would piss her off more.
" Who is your father?"
" Miles Quaritch. The person who led the attack on your clan."
There was a pause. The name cuts deep.
" So, he is the reason for my parents' death"
"maybe…I am sorry"
" It's not your fault, after all you weren't even born then" Tiva said. Then Ikran made sounds.
" LISTEN…I CAN'T RIDE YOU".
" But he says you rode him before," Spider said with confusion.
" It was an accident… fine. You can understand him while I can't"
" Well… I studied about Na'vi a lot and played with Lo'ak and Kiri."
" Fine. I will ride. And do what?" Tiva asked from Ikran.
" He says you should take me there?"
" Where?"
" He says not to waste time," Spider said while getting confused. Tiva was also confused without trusting Spider completely. But she sensed both of them have a lot in common.
She came to Ikran with Spider and Ikran rode fast as a thunderbolt. Tiva couldn't help but scream out loud because of that. She had fallen from Ikran and Ikran didn't take her back as if he knew she would be safe.
" What…aren't you taking her ?"
Ikran made a sound that Tiva will be fine and Spider has to go to Lo'ak. Then Spider looked around. It was the Ocean which made his mouth agape. Tiva was fallen under the sea and she could swim for a while.
