After the roof of the house was destroyed. Ryan and the mage girl stepped out and saw a massive demon before them. And it was fighting a girl dressed in black, with a hood over her head covering her hair and part of her face.
'If they're fighting, she must be human, right?'
The demon swung its massive weapon to attack her.
The girl seemed to defend herself well, she could dodge the demon's attacks but her wounds made her lose her balance. She was exhausted, it was a matter of time before she lost that fight.
"That thing... a boomerang? It's huge!"
"Hey! Don't just stand there, save her!"
When Ryan turned his gaze to the mage girl. She had already returned to her child form.
"When did you run out of mana? You should get rid of that title."
Ryan ran toward the demon. He leaped at him and spoke in mid-air.
"Fire Aura!"
His gloves ignited in flames. When the demon noticed his presence, he turned his gaze to Ryan. But he was already so close to his huge face that he simply couldn't react in time and took the full punch, and the impact blasted him to the ground.
The wounded girl leaned against the wall of one of the destroyed houses. She fixed her eyes on Ryan, her gaze weak and confused.
"Who are you..." It was the last thing she said before falling unconscious.
The air whipped with a loud whistle.
Ryan turned to the demon he hit, he was already standing, and directed his powerful boomerang attack right at Ryan's face.
'He's very slow, I don't need to use Inspect to know he's a Principality, the intensity of his aura is clear enough but...'
When the boomerang was inches away, Ryan stopped it with one hand.
"What the shit!" The demon blurted out in surprise. He tried to pull the weapon back but Ryan held it even tighter.
"Seeing you fight... I knew you were strong, but this is absurd for a priest..." The mage muttered.
Ryan smiled, staring right at the demon. "You're hideous."
"Bastard!"
Before the demon could say anything else, Ryan deflected the boomerang toward the ground.
He took two steps on the boomerang and launched himself.
Smack!
A heavy blow to the demon's neck ended his life, the intense fire from his gloves burning the neck and face of that demon as he fell to the ground.

The mage girl approached him keeping her distance.
Ryan crouched down and picked up the boomerang.
'This thing... I'm smaller than this boomerang.'
Ryan smiled.
'I'll keep it.'
"I don't understand why demons from Demon King Rigal's faction are here..."
"Rigal?" Ryan asked.
"Yes... he's the demon king of the giant race." The mage explained.
'So that's why they're so huge...'
"Well, now I'll heal that girl."
Ryan turned toward the girl, he started walking but a fire attack came out of nowhere.
Ryan grabbed the little girl by the waist and leaped to dodge.
"Ah! Be careful!"
"Don't complain, I just saved you!" Ryan turned his gaze in the direction of the attack. And there stood two demons.
Giants as well.
"Damn you! How dare you kill my brother!"
Finishing his words, he charged running at Ryan. The sound of his footsteps was heavy. Ryan raised the boomerang like a large baseball bat.
With his back foot, he pushed off and as he faced the oncoming demon.
He swung the boomerang hard like he was batting.
He cleaved the demon in half.
The other demon stood motionless, his mouth open, but suddenly his expression changed, turning serious.
Ryan threw the boomerang with force, it spun at top speed until it reached the demon.
Smack!
A loud sound echoed. The demon stopped the boomerang with his hands.
"I expected that!" Ryan shouted.
"Bastard!" The demon dropped the boomerang, and before it hit the ground Ryan activated his other skill.
"Wall of Fire." He activated it behind the demon.
The demon briefly turned his face to see that intense fire behind him, and when he looked forward again he already had Ryan's flaming fist planted on his face.
The heavy impact drove the demon's face into the wall of fire. And with Ryan's fist on his face, he began to burn.
Ryan pressed until the demon died.

Ryan returned to where the mage was.
"I think we're done."
"Hey, you don't stop surprising me." The mage exclaimed.
"It's not a big deal, we fought Principalities before... these were bigger but also more careless."
"Yes, giants aren't very cunning, but don't get careless about that, you know?"
"Got it, but now let's go heal that girl before she dies."
Ryan and she walked together, but the sound on the ground distracted the mage for a moment.
"Hey, I know that weapon is strong, but are you planning to carry that thing around dragging it all the time?"
"You're right, but I do have a place to store it."
'It'll be my first time using that thing, ah... I wonder how those elves are doing.'
Ryan took out from his pocket the item the elves gifted him.
The magical inventory.
When he activated it, he easily stored the huge boomerang.
"See? It's better this way."
"That inventory is very rare, those types are hard to get, how do you have it?"
"Well, they gave it to me for completing a quest recently."
The girl watched him with curiosity while Ryan put the box away again.
"I also have a magical inventory, but a lower level one, I keep my magic staff there, without it I'm very weak. If I hadn't brought out my Twin Fires earlier, we would have had a hard time..." She took a brief pause.
"Though I doubt it; after all you are quite strong."
Ryan looked at her in disbelief.
'She isn't weak at all.'
When Ryan finally approached the unconscious girl to heal her, he removed her hood.
He stopped.
"She's a demon too, you must kill her," the mage girl exclaimed.
Two horns came out of her forehead.
But Ryan hesitated for a moment. The girl, despite being a demon, was very pretty; but it wasn't just that, killing someone while they are unconscious was something he didn't want to do.
The inspection revealed she was a Principality. And from her stats, he deduced she was an assassin.
Ryan refused to kill her, and even though the mage girl insisted.
He told her that if they wanted to get out of that place fast, the best thing would be to interrogate her, because if she was being chased by demons, then something must be going on and she would probably help them out of gratitude.
"I won't be responsible for what might happen if you heal her." The mage grumbled.
"Relax, you already know I'm very strong, right?"
She nodded her head.
'Besides this time I'll use the debt skill to stop her from attacking us, and I'll make her believe I can use it whenever I want...'
Ryan sighed in front of the demon girl.
"Recovery."
