After the roof of the house was destroyed,
Ryan and the mage girl stepped outside, and what they saw before them was a massive demon.
It was fighting against a girl dressed in black, with a hood over her head covering her hair and part of her face.
'An adventurer?'
The demon swung its massive weapon to attack her.
The girl seemed to be defending herself well, managing to dodge the demon's attacks, but her wounds were causing her to lose her balance. She was exhausted; it was only a matter of time before she lost this fight.
"That thing... a boomerang? It's huge!"
"Hey! Don't just stand there, save her!"
When Ryan turned his gaze toward the mage girl,
she had already returned to her child form.
'She ran out of mana again, she really should get rid of that title.'
Ryan dashed in the direction of the demon.
He leaped toward it and called out in mid-air,
"Fire Aura!"
His gauntlets ignited in flames.
When the demon noticed his presence, it turned its gaze toward Ryan.
But Ryan was already so close to its massive face that it simply couldn't react in time, taking Ryan's punch head-on, and the impact slammed it into the ground.
The wounded girl slumped against the wall of one of the destroyed houses.
She fixed her eyes on Ryan, her gaze weak and confused.
"Who are you..." was the last thing she said before losing consciousness.
The air whipped with a sharp whistling sound.
Ryan turned back toward the demon he had struck; it was already on its feet, directing a powerful attack with the boomerang straight at Ryan's face.
'It's really slow compared to the rest, I don't even need to use Inspect to know it's a Principality. The intensity of its aura is clear enough, but...'
When the boomerang was just centimeters away, Ryan stopped it with a single hand.
"What the fuck!" the demon blurted out in shock. It tried to pull the weapon back, but Ryan held onto it with even greater strength.
"Watching you fight... I knew you were strong, but this is absurd for a priest..." the mage murmured.
Ryan smirked, staring intently at the demon. "You are hideous."
"You bastard!"
Before the demon could say anything else, Ryan deflected the boomerang toward the ground.
He took two steps onto the boomerang and lunged forward.
Smack!
A heavy blow to the demon's neck ended its life, the intense fire from his gauntlets burning the demon's neck and face as it collapsed to the ground.

The mage girl approached him, keeping her distance.
Ryan bent down and picked up the boomerang.
'This thing... I'm smaller than this boomerang.'
Ryan smiled.
'I'll keep it.'
"I don't understand why the hell demons from Demon King Rigal's faction are here..."
"Rigal?" Ryan asked.
"Yes... he's the demon king of the giant race."
'So that's why they're so massive...'
"Well, now I'll heal that girl."
Ryan turned in the direction of the girl and started walking, but a fire attack came out of nowhere.
Ryan grabbed the little girl by the waist and leaped to dodge it.
"Ah! Watch out!"
"Don't complain, I just saved you!" Ryan turned his gaze toward the direction of the attack. And there stood two demons.
Giants as well.
"You bastard! How dare you kill my brother!"
As soon as he finished speaking, he lunged forward, charging toward Ryan. The sound of his footsteps was heavy.
Ryan raised the boomerang as if it were a massive baseball bat.
Planting his foot, he propelled himself forward, and upon reaching the demon coming at him,
he swung the boomerang with immense force as if batting.
Slicing the demon clean in half.
The other demon stood motionless, his mouth wide open.
But suddenly his expression shifted, turning serious.
Ryan hurled the boomerang with power; it spun at high speed until it reached the demon.
Thwack!
A loud sound echoed. The demon stopped the boomerang with his hands.
"I was already expecting that!" Ryan shouted.
"You bastard!" The demon dropped the boomerang, and before it could hit the ground, Ryan activated his other skill.
"Fire Wall." It activated right behind the demon.
The demon briefly turned his face to see the intense fire behind him, and when he looked forward again, Ryan's fist, ignited in flames, was already slammed against his face.
The massive impact drove the demon's face right into the wall of fire. And with Ryan's fist pressed against his face, he began to burn.
Ryan kept pressing until the demon died.

Ryan returned to where the mage was.
"I think we're done here."
"Hey, you never cease to amaze me," the mage exclaimed.
"It's no big deal, we already fought Principalities before... these ones were bigger, but also more careless."
"Yeah, giants aren't very clever, but don't get overconfident about that, you know?"
"I understand, but now let's go heal that girl before she dies."
Ryan and she walked together, but the sound on the ground distracted the mage for a moment.
"Hey, I know that weapon is strong, but do you plan on dragging that thing around the entire time?"
"You're right, but I do have a place to store it."
'This will be the first time I use this thing, ah... I wonder how those elves are doing.'
Ryan pulled out the item the elves had gifted him from his pocket.
The magic inventory.
When he activated it, he was able to easily store the massive boomerang.
"See? It's better this way."
"That inventory is very rare, those types are hard to come by. How on earth do you have it?"
"Well, it was given to me upon completing a mission recently."
The girl watched him with curiosity as Ryan tucked the box away again.
"I have a magic inventory too, but it's a lower tier. That's where I store my magic staff; without it, I'm very weak. If I hadn't summoned my Twins Fire earlier, we would have had a rough time..." She paused briefly.
"Though I doubt it; after all, you're pretty strong."
Ryan looked at her with disbelief.
'She isn't weak at all.'
When Ryan finally approached the unconscious girl to heal her, he removed her hood.
He stopped.
"She's a demon too, you have to kill her," the mage girl exclaimed.
Two horns protruded from her forehead.
But Ryan hesitated for a moment. Despite being a demon, the girl was very cute; but it wasn't just that, killing someone while they were unconscious was something he didn't want to do.
Inspect revealed that she was a Principality. And based on her stats, he deduced she was an assassin.
Ryan refused to kill her, even though the mage girl insisted.
He told her that if they wanted to get out of this place quickly, it would be best to interrogate her. After all, if she was being pursued by demons, then something must be going on, and she would probably cooperate out of gratitude.
"I won't be held responsible for what happens if you heal her," the mage grumbled.
"Don't worry, you already know I'm very strong, right?"
She nodded her head.
'Besides, this time I'll use the debt skill to prevent her from attacking us, and I'll make her believe I can use it whenever I want...'
Ryan sighed in front of the demon girl.
"Recovery."
