However, under the heavy influence of the Tailed Beast Chakra, even a rare, perfect Jinchuriki like him found his sanity greatly affected. Tumbling away across the dirt for quite a distance, Killer B finally realized that his own reactions could no longer keep up with his body's enhanced speed.
"Eight, I've reached my limit," Killer B wheezed. "I'll leave the rest of the battle to you."
Killer B was not yet the mature, seasoned warrior he would become a decade later. Although he had already made a name for himself in the Third Great Ninja War, his strength was still far from its absolute peak. Seeing the situation turning against him, he immediately relinquished control of his body to Gyuki, the Eight-Tails.
With Gyuki taking personal control, the berserk Tailed Beast Chakra instantly smoothed out, growing docile as two more chakra tails naturally manifested behind him. Once all eight tails had fully materialized, Killer B was entirely encased in a thick, dense layer of dark red Tailed Beast Chakra, making him look exactly like a miniature Eight-Tails.
"Brat, your eyes make me very uncomfortable. They always remind me of a certain someone," Gyuki rumbled, its deep voice echoing from Killer B's throat. "Even though I know you aren't him, you are still an Uchiha. I'll just use you to vent my anger in his place."
Hearing the sheer weight behind the voice, Jie instantly understood. This wasn't Killer B speaking anymore; it was the Tailed Beast sealed within him.
"Madara Uchiha?" Jie asked with absolute certainty.
The only Uchiha capable of casually thrashing the Eight-Tails was Madara. But for Gyuki to use him as a mere stand-in for Madara... it clearly didn't realize who it was dealing with.
After all, Jie was a transmigrator, the host of a System. While Madara was undeniably strong and had nearly become the ultimate mastermind of the entire ninja world, he had ultimately been played for a fool, paving the way for someone else's revival. Jie had no desire to end up like Madara.
Moreover, even if Gyuki unleashed its complete form, did it really think it was guaranteed to win?
Deciding it was time to give the Eight-Tails a harsh reality check, Jie decisively activated the power of the Nine-Tails dormant within his own body.
A vibrant, orange-red Chakra instantly erupted, enveloping Jie completely. Two tails rapidly formed, swaying heavily behind him. Seeing the familiar aura radiating from the Uchiha, Gyuki's jaw dropped.
"The Nine-Tails' Chakra? Are you its Jinchuriki?" Gyuki muttered in disbelief before pausing. "No... although this Chakra carries Kurama's scent, I don't sense a seal on you at all."
Gyuki quickly shook its heavy head, violently dismissing the thought. "Regardless, since you carry the Nine-Tails' Chakra, I definitely cannot let you live!"
"Tailed Beast Bomb!"
A massive volume of Yin and Yang Chakra rapidly gathered in front of Gyuki's mouth, compressing into a dense, ink-black sphere of volatile energy.
Boom!
"Kamui!"
Right behind Jie was the Konoha ninja army. If that Tailed Beast Bomb was allowed to land among their ranks, the battle would end in a pyrrhic victory at best, the catastrophic losses far outweighing any gains.
So, the very millisecond Gyuki fired the blast, Jie's Mangekyo Sharingan flared. He ripped open Kamui's spatial vortex, flawlessly swallowing the massive attack into his personal dimension.
"A Space-Time Ninjutsu?" Gyuki spat in sheer frustration when its ultimate attack vanished into thin air. "To think you've learned such a troublesome technique... What a bothersome brat. Let's see you swallow this! Continuous Tailed Beast Bombs!"
Gyuki widened its jaws once more, frantically drawing in ambient energy to forge another barrage.
"Troublesome things like Tailed Beast Bombs shouldn't be thrown around so carelessly," Jie said lightly. "It would be terrible if it hit someone, and even if it didn't, destroying the flowers and grass is still a sin."
His Mangekyo Sharingan gleamed dangerously. Crimson-gold Chakra erupted around him, rapidly condensing into a colossal, armored skeletal arm that smashed ruthlessly down onto Gyuki's head.
Thud!
With a muffled, earth-shaking crunch, Gyuki's open maw was violently slammed shut by the overwhelming external force. The immense, unstable Chakra it had been gathering inside its mouth was instantly destabilized, resulting in a horrific internal explosion.
"Argh!"
Accompanied by a furious roar of pain, the miniature Tailed Beast form began to rapidly expand.
As the violent smoke and dust cleared, the complete, mountainous form of the Eight-Tails appeared before Jie, blowing furious jets of white steam from its nostrils.
"What is that?! A Tailed Beast?!"
"Is Jie actually fighting that kind of monster all by himself?!"
Even from nearly a kilometer away, the colossal, octopus-bull hybrid was terrifyingly visible to the Konoha forces. Fugaku Uchiha stared in shock; he hadn't expected Kumogakure to be ruthless enough to deploy their precious Jinchuriki just to ambush them.
"No, I can't let Jie fight alone," Fugaku muttered, gripping his weapon. "I have to get out there."
Meanwhile, back at the Kumogakure camp, the surviving ninja who had been ordered to retreat by Killer B had finally arrived.
Forgoing any rest, they rushed straight into the Fourth Raikage's command tent, crying out in panic. "Lord Raikage! To protect our retreat, Lord Killer B has been surrounded by Konoha's Uchiha clan!"
"What?!" The Fourth Raikage slammed his hands onto his desk and shot to his feet, his face contorted with unbridled rage. "B is surrounded by Konoha?! Men, with me! We're bringing B back!"
But just as the Fourth Raikage threw open the flaps of his tent and stepped outside, the gigantic, towering form of Gyuki caught the eyes of everyone in the camp.
The Raikage's eyes widened. "He was forced into his complete form this quickly? The strength of the Uchiha clan truly cannot be underestimated..."
Lightning chakra violently exploded around the Raikage's body, his hair standing on end. "Hold on, B! I'm coming to save you!"
