I'm still not quite getting the vibe I'm aiming for, so I decided to give it another go.

First: I apologize for the unusual names like Luel, Nacht, and Kurizu.
I'm also super lazy, lousy, and not very good at coming up with last names. So for Luel, El is his family name.
For example, Luel's younger sister would be named Luelle—which still has the El in her name.
Second: The main characters will be in their fourth year of high school. Usually, high school only lasts three years, especially in Japan, but the story will follow an American-based education system.
However, the fourth year of high school will not be for academic education but for military service, or rather, Self-Defense Force training.
Therefore, expect the characters to have at least one combat skill, such as kendo, archery, or other combat sports, as part of the curriculum, including training in firearms.
Third: Their uniform will consist of a black blazer over a white blouse with black skirts for girls, and a black blazer over a white shirt with black pants for boys.
Fourth: The story takes place in a fictional country named Florescence, roughly the size of Luzon Island in the Philippines, located between Japan and Philippines. The main characters live in Crossroad City, a city with access to major roads and train lines connecting all parts of the country.
