Settling in the new office took Daniel almost no time. The office had all the furniture and other stuff ready by the time he entered it, and Daniel quickly put his laptop on the table to access his files.
He went through his mail first, sorting it out and keeping anything that looked important. Then he sorted out a few more files and replied to the mails that were pending.
It took away his whole morning and he only realized how late it had gotten in the afternoon when Ivan brought him coffee and pressed the hot drink against Daniel's cheeks.
"Here, drink this for some energy. Do you want to order something to eat? Or do you want to go out for lunch?"
Daniel narrowed his eyes at Ivan's lack of action.
He had been too busy all morning to notice it, but Ivan had…not done anything to him this whole time.
Usually, Ivan was clingy and liked to hang around Daniel as much as he could. But today, he was truly behaving himself well…a little too well.
