Relief filled Ivan's face immediately after Daniel's words. He let go of Daniel's face and let out a relieved sigh.
"So you are fine? That's good to hear. I was afraid that I would have to take this place down or something because they dared to make you sick."
All the tension suddenly left Ivan's body at the news that Daniel was fine. That made something funny wiggle inside Daniel, but he pushed it down.
"I just told you that we were going to get drugged, and this is your first response? To ask if I am fine or not? What about the drugs? Or the possibility that we are not safe here?"
Daniel asked and Ivan just blinked at him as if he had asked a stupid question.
"It won't be the first or last time I get drugged at such times, so I don't care about it. But I do care if you get sick and are not able to be with me anymore. I don't think I will be able to handle that."
