The beta owner looked utterly defeated. Her eyes looked at Ivan but then she quickly turned them away due to guilt and looked at the only unserved alpha occupant of the room.
"It's alright if you serve me late. I am not t-that hungry and I can wait. I promise."
The alpha promised and Daniel felt like he had to praise this man's composure. He had never seen any alpha be this calm after being insulted like he had been.
But despite the ease with which the alpha was behaving, the beta woman continued to panic and she bowed again and again.
"I am sorry, sir. This is all my fault. Please give me another chance. I promise I will do it right this time. I will bring you the best food possible."
The female left the room before anyone could say anything and the alpha sighed before he turned toward Daniel and spoke.
