Daniel quietly looked around himself as he observed his surroundings. The first thing he noticed was that he was lying down on something soft, but he was not feeling comfortable.
In fact, he was sure he had never been more uncomfortable in his life.
There were also two other presences in the room with him, both waiting for him to wake up. But none moved to check on him at any point in time. Daniel could tell that these two presences were familiar, but they were not friendly.

He recalled the sweet smell and then being knocked out. So it was safe to say that he had been kidnapped by someone. But realistically, there was only one person who would want to do this.
