Only the Writer remains.
He stands alone in the library.
But something is different.
The books are shaking.
The shelves tremble.
Some books disappear.
Some books rewrite themselves.

"And that changes everything."
The Reader looks around.
Reader
"What happens now?"
The Writer slowly closes the book of Edition 10.

"The Creator must decide."

đ The Dreamer Awakens
Far above the Library.
Far above the Council.
The Dreamer opens his eyes.
For the first time.
He is no longer a child.
No longer broken.
No longer lost.
The Versions gather around him.
Nemesis.
The Writer.
The Forgotten Version.
Barbaric Author.
Futuristic Author.
Redeemed Author.
They all kneel.
Dreamer
"Please stand."
Nobody moves.
Writer
"You have awakened."
Nemesis
"The choice belongs to you now."
The Dreamer looks confused.
Dreamer
"What choice?"
The Forgotten Version points upward.
The sky cracks.
Millions of worlds appear.
Millions of possibilities.
Millions of futures.
Forgotten Version
"The future."
đď¸ The Council Reforms
The Hall of Versions slowly rebuilds itself.
Broken pillars repair themselves.
The shattered mirror reforms.
But the chains remain broken.
Nemesis is no longer imprisoned.
Barbaric Author
"We still cannot trust him."
Nemesis
"And I still do not trust you."
Redeemed Author
"The war is coming."
The room becomes silent.
Writer
"We must prepare."
The Dreamer looks toward them.
Dreamer
"Prepare for what?"
Nobody answers.
Suddenly.
The lights go out.
A whisper.
"Creator..."
Everyone freezes.
Even Nemesis.
The voice comes from nowhere.
And everywhere.
Unknown Voice
"You awakened too early."
The Council Hall begins shaking.
Books fall.
The stars disappear.
Futuristic Author
"This energy..."
Nemesis
"No."
For the first time.
Nemesis looks frightened.
⍠The Empty Throne
Deep within the Hall.
A giant throne appears.
An ancient throne.
Broken.
Abandoned.
The Forgotten Version slowly walks toward it.
Dreamer
"What is that?"
The Forgotten Version stops.
Forgotten Version
"The Creator's Throne."
Everyone becomes silent.
Writer
"No one has sat there."
Barbaric Author
"Not for thousands of years."
Dreamer
"Who sat there?"
The Forgotten Version looks downward.
Forgotten Version
"The first Creator."
đ Nemesis' Warning
Nemesis suddenly steps forward.
Nemesis
"Do not sit on that throne."
The room turns silent.
Dreamer
"Why?"
Nemesis looks directly at him.
Nemesis
"Because once you sit there..."
"You stop being the Dreamer."
Dreamer
"What do I become?"
Nemesis closes his eyes.
Nemesis
"The Creator."
đŹ Final Scene
The Dreamer slowly walks toward the throne.
Everyone watches.
The Writer.
The Versions.
The Reader.
Even the Forgotten Version.
His hand touches the armrest.
Suddenly.
Visions.
Endless wars.
Destroyed worlds.
Burning skies.
Broken versions.
A great battle.
Nemesis standing against the Versions.
The Writer bleeding.
The Council destroyed.
And one final vision.
The Dreamer.
Alone.
Sitting upon the throne.
A voice echoes.
Unknown Voice
"Choose wisely."
The Dreamer steps backward.
Dreamer
"I'm not ready."
The throne disappears.
The Council Hall becomes silent.
Nemesis turns away.
Nemesis
"Good."
The Writer looks toward the Reader.
Writer
"The future has begun to move."
Far away.
Deep within the darkness.
Two red eyes open.
Not Nemesis.
Something else.
Something ancient.
Unknown Voice
"So..."
"The next Creator has awakened."
The screen fades to black.
