I was sitting in the cafe, on the table with the view of the road. I sat quietly, stirring my tea with a teaspoon. I seemed to be figuring out something that I can't tell which thing. I placed the teaspoon on the saucer and took a sip of tea. I overheard the conversation of two women who were sitting on the table behind her.
"I've heard that our idol is going to stage a concert in a few days," one woman said.
"Look at this, he's so handsome, isn't he? May be one day I will get a chance to see him. I think we would make a good match, can't we?"
"My goodness, Jessy," One girl said, with so much disguise in her voice. "You're such a day dreamer. You've got to wake.Jason isn't some random guy you could pick even if you went to the market. He's a nation's idol and a multi-millionaire."
I started to peek on them. I saw that Jessy wasn't beautiful, but she was pretty in her ways. Her big, brown eyes were warm and expressive, drawing you in like a quiet secret. Her skin was as smooth as a newborn's, soft and flawless without any effort. Her lips were naturally red, like the color of fresh roses, curving into a gentle smile that made her whole face come alive. Her thick, dark hair cascaded softly down her shoulders, framing her smooth face perfectly and adding to her quiet, natural beauty.
I looked away when Jessy turned her head in her direction. She called out a waiter just to order some guava juice, and some hot chacolate.
"Why order guava juice? You know I don't like fruit juices." The other girl commented when the waiter was gone. "You know I don't like the guava."
The waiter was back in a minute with a tray holding their order. "You know,Caissy," Caissy. So that's her friends name. "I've go to keep my figure. I don't want to gain any more weight. It would make me look like a penguin." She lifted her glass and took a sip, as her friend watched her with a look of disbelief. A moment later, Jessy excused herself to use the bathroom.
My phone buzzed, and saw a new message notification. Come to the parking lot, that's what it said. I knew the sender so I didn't hesitate. I slipped quickly out of my seat and made my way through thr crrowded cafe, careful not to be noticed. It was all thanks to the sunglasses I put on before I left my seat.
The parking lot was quiet and dimly lit, with only a few cars scattered around. I looked around nervously, my heart beating faster with every step. Then a voice called out from the darkness. "Lily," I turned and saw a familiar figure, leaning against a black car with his arms crossed. "What took you so long to get here?"
