Chapter 11: 100-Draw Jackpot, Teigu Plans, and the Hokage's "Talk"
After coaxing Mikoto away with great effort, Naraku looked at his 100 lottery draws and felt something he'd never experienced in either life: true wealth.
Based on the pattern—10 draws guaranteed a blue—he figured 100 draws had to come with a gold pity. Right?
Preparation first: the classic four rituals—bath, incense, fasting, meditation.
He started small: one 10-draw to test the waters.
Ding...Lottery in progress...
[Face Wash ×10] [Candy ×1 crate] [Green: Hulk's Underwear] [Fried Chicken ×10 kg] [Toothpicks ×1 crate] [Ham Sausages ×1 crate] [Green: 20m Sea King (One Piece world – massive, powerful "giant beast" species)] [Blue: Oriharukon ×1 portion] [Sunscreen ×10] [Mineral Water ×1 crate]
Naraku's heart sank. The non-chief curse had struck again—another pity-tier pull, mostly useless junk.
He immediately set the system to hide gray items from now on—only green and above would show.
Then he rage-drew the remaining 90.
Ding...Lottery in progress...
[Blue: Oriharukon ×12 portions] [Blue: Dangerous Species – Ironclad Beast, Earth Dragon Beast, Poison Dragon Beast] [Gold: Special Dragon-Type Dangerous Species – Tyrant (Live): Dragon-shaped dangerous species that thrives in extreme environments (frozen tundra or scorching deserts) due to incredible adaptability and vitality. When made into a Teigu, the dragon cells remain alive and continue evolving.] [Gold: Armor-Type Teigu Forging Secrets: Includes Incursio (Demon's Embrace), Shikoutazer (Chariot of Wrath), and Susanoo (God of Protection)] [Green: 20m Sea Kings ×13] [Green: Fine Iron ×100 kg]
Thirteen portions of Oriharukon meant thirteen potential B-grade Vassal Arms.
But the live Tyrant dragon + the armor Teigu secrets together unlocked the path to forge Incursio (Demon's Embrace):
[Incursio (Demon's Embrace): Armor-type Teigu crafted from the ferocious dragon-type dangerous species "Tyrant." Upon summoning, solid armor automatically assembles around the user, greatly enhancing their abilities. Renowned for its iron-wall defense, it comes equipped with the auxiliary weapon "Red Shrike." Due to extreme burden on the wearer, normal humans will die upon equipping it. Hidden ability: activates the biological traits of the material, granting short-term invisibility. With mastery, the user can also conceal their presence. This Teigu possesses continuous evolution potential; thanks to the material's properties, it can even resist highly unusual elemental attacks. Overuse will cause the wearer to fully dragonify!]
The protagonist's signature Teigu from Akame ga Kill!—with its characteristics, it offered near-limitless potential.
But Naraku checked the forging requirements: at least 10 portions of Oriharukon.
A tough choice: mass-produce Vassal Arms, or forge one overwhelming Teigu to make his name explode across the world?
After thinking it over, he decided: prioritize the Teigu first. Vassal Arms could be slowly produced later using daily reputation.
Incursio was undoubtedly A-grade. The system might even reward 1,000 draws for it.
Of course, Naraku had zero confidence in forging a Teigu on his first try—even with the secrets in hand.
He needed practice: forge several Vassal Arms first, ideally combining blue materials with Teigu forging techniques to get the feel.
One detail stood out: the system explicitly marked Tyrant as live.
Naraku knew he couldn't subdue such a creature himself.
To forge Incursio properly, he'd need to recruit strong helpers to capture it alive—killing Tyrant would strip the infinite evolution trait, downgrading the result to something like Chariot of Wrath.
[Chariot of Wrath (Shikoutazer): Armor-type Teigu developed from Incursio as a prototype. Superior in performance to standard armor, but lacks invisibility and the raw burst power of Incursio.]
As for God of Protection (Susanoo)—the ultimate, origin Teigu, pinnacle of all Teigu, said to rival divine power and usable only by those of imperial bloodline—Naraku didn't even dare dream of it yet.
[God of Protection (Susanoo): The first and strongest Teigu, the origin of all Teigu, known as the "Supreme Teigu." Legends claim it possesses god-like power; only those with emperor's blood can wield it. Secret technique: "Purge Mode"—combines alchemy and Teigu traits, transforming into dragon form. The user becomes bloodthirsty under its erosion; destructive power and quantity surge, armor hardness reaches another level.]
Too many impossible conditions and materials—far beyond what one person (or even a small group) could achieve.
The Sea Kings? Simple: process them with the Ingredient Processing Technique to boost his own strength.
The blue dangerous species (Ironclad Beast, Earth Dragon Beast, Poison Dragon Beast) could be turned into Vassal Arms depending on the situation.
With no custom orders at the moment, Naraku returned to training Shadow Clone Technique.
The 1 Ka chakra reward from Nawaki using Kirikabe Ichimonji made him feel progress would come quickly.
He practiced in his room for a while. Sure enough, the extra chakra made the B-rank technique much easier to handle—though his clones were still weaklings.
After two solid hours, he finally mastered Shadow Clone Technique.
Rubbing his stomach, Naraku decided to go find something to eat.
Walking down the street, he suddenly spotted a smiling, sleazy middle-aged man. Something about him felt familiar, so Naraku looked twice.
Recognition hit: it was the adult version of the man who'd given the speech at the academy—Sarutobi Hiruzen, the Third Hokage.
Hiruzen immediately called out: "Naraku-kun? I'd like to have a word with you."
Naraku had no choice but to approach. In this village, the Hokage was the top dog—he couldn't afford to disrespect him openly.
At around forty years old, Hiruzen was still the strongest person in Konoha—unquestionably.
"Third Hokage-sama! Is something the matter?" Naraku asked, feigning innocence.
Hiruzen smiled kindly: "Little Naraku, I hear you want to become the greatest forger in the world… and you've already achieved quite a bit?"
Naraku knew exactly what was coming: the Will of Fire brainwashing session.
