He knew much about the Tailed Beasts—but this was new.
"Yes. And speaking of the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path, we must mention your former organization."
"The Akatsuki?"
"Correct. You left too early—their Tailed Beast capture plan had not yet begun, so it's natural you were unaware."
Orochimaru nodded slowly.
"I know how the Akatsuki was founded. Jiraiya's students from the Land of Rain."
"Their current leader is the former Yahiko—now calling himself Pain. He possesses the Rinnegan."
"Correct. But Pain is merely a set of corpse puppets. The true leader is Nagato."
"And the masked man—'Tobi'—is the real mastermind."
"He orchestrated the assassination attempt on the Akatsuki by manipulating Danzō and Hanzō. That incident led to Yahiko's death and Nagato's fall into darkness."
"That was the birth of the current Akatsuki."
Orochimaru's golden eyes narrowed.
"I suspected that masked man was dangerous… but to think he was the one behind it all."

Jiraiya roared:
"Danzō! Hanzō! You dared assassinate my students?!"
Hanzō retorted:
"It was Danzō's suggestion!"
Danzō snapped back coldly:
"I merely encouraged you. You already couldn't tolerate another powerful force in the Land of Rain."
Hanzō fell silent.
Within the Akatsuki hideout—
"Universal Pull!"
Pain's Deva Path attacked Tobi. Tobi phased through the attack using Kamui.
"You're going to believe that brat so easily?" Tobi mocked.
Pain's voice turned icy.
"The one who killed Yūshuke and the others… was you."
"And this 'Eye of the Moon Plan'—you never told me about that."
"Almighty Push!"
Killing intent surged from Nagato.
Konan blocked Tobi's retreat path. Deidara and Sasori prepared to assist.
Black Zetsu quickly interfered with Wood Release-like vines, creating chaos.
Tobi seized the opening and escaped with Kamui. Black Zetsu submerged underground to follow.
Back in the laboratory—
"Speaking of Tobi," Nagi said evenly, "he is a madman."
"His true identity is Minato Namikaze's former student—Obito Uchiha."
Orochimaru paused.
"Obito Uchiha…"
He remembered.
"If it's him… then it's not surprising. The brighter the light in one's heart, the darker the shadow when it falls."
Nagi continued calmly:
"He orchestrated the Nine-Tails' Attack."
"He was involved in the Night of the Uchiha Clan Massacre."
"He is, without question, a lunatic."
Livestream Erupts
Kakashi's voice trembled:
"Obito… is it true? Were you behind the Nine-Tails' Attack?!"
Kūshina's anger exploded:
"Obito! What did we ever do to you?! Naruto grew up without parents because of you!"
Minato's expression darkened.
"Obito… why? Was it because of Rin?"
Obito answered coldly:
"Yes. It was me."
"You ask why? Why were you always late when we needed you?"
"But when I tried to kill your wife with the Nine-Tails… you arrived right on time?"
Tsunade spat:
"Don't twist the blame, you ungrateful brat!"
Voices of rage filled Konoha's side of the livestream.
Obito remained unmoved.
Nagi spoke again:
"Obito was manipulated into darkness by MadaraUchiha."
Orochimaru's eyes gleamed.
"Madara … So he truly survived?"
"Yes."
"He did not die after his battle with the First Hokage at the Valley of the End."
"Before his supposed death, he bit off a piece of Hashirama's flesh."
