The six rods emitted a dark crimson glow, instantly enveloping the entire city.
Moments later, the intense light faded, leaving only a faint red barrier covering the ancient kingdom.
Nagi narrowed his eyes.
He realized something immediately.
"The space has been sealed…"
He could no longer sense the Flying Thunder God markers outside Rōran.
Suddenly, Nagi sensed a presence.
Looking up—
a figure descended slowly from the sky.
The man wore a white haori. His hair was gathered atop his head with a long braid trailing behind. Beneath his left eye was the Roman numeral IV tattoo, and a black diamond-shaped mark rested on his chin.
Red bands circled his neck and wrists, and his fingernails were painted black.
A black crystalline core protruded from his abdomen, while a red sash hung from his waist and red earrings dangled from his ears.
Seeing the man, Nagi's pupils shrank.
He instantly realized—
this was extremely bad.
The man slowly approached.
"Allow me to introduce myself."
"My name is Jigen."
"Ever since the day I happened to glimpse you here long ago, your figure has remained unforgettable."
"Forgive me… but your body is already destined to become mine."
Nagi replied calmly:
"Sorry, Mr. Jigen."
"I'm a guy, so I'm afraid I can't accept your affection."
Jigen smiled.
"Is that so?"
"You'll understand soon enough."
