It turned out that the fierce battle between Nagi and Jigen had fully awakened the Dragon Veins (Ryūmyaku) beneath Rōran.

At that exact moment, the crystal sphere in Jigen's hand burst with intense white light, resonating with the Dragon Vein's purple glow.

Nagi vanished.

And the baby?
His skin was like delicate porcelain—smooth and translucent, as if it might break with a touch.
His snow-white hair made his fair complexion appear even more striking.
At the moment, however, the baby was fast asleep.
Just then, footsteps approached from nearby.
"It should be around here, right?"
"Yeah. The purple light appeared in this direction. It must be somewhere nearby. Let's search carefully for clues, Genma."
"Got it."
The two were Genma and Raido Namiashi.
However, they looked about ten years younger than usual.
Just then, Genma pushed aside a patch of grass and spotted the baby lying ahead.
"Raido, I found—"
At that moment, the swaddling cloth around the baby emitted a faint blue flash.
The light shot straight into Genma's forehead.
Genma suddenly felt dizzy.
Raido walked over after hearing Genma call out and patted him on the back.
"Genma, what's wrong? Huh? This baby is—"
Genma slowly came back to his senses.
It felt like something had been stuffed into his mind just now, though he couldn't quite remember it clearly.
Slowly, he said:
"This is… my late uncle's child."
Raido's eyes widened.
"Huh!? Since when do you even have an uncle? Isn't your dad an only child—"
At that moment, the blue crystal sphere suddenly floated up and merged into the baby's body.
A mechanical voice echoed faintly:
[Identity verification successful — cousin of Genma .]
Raido suddenly felt dazed for a moment.
Then he realized—
Genma actually did have an uncle.
But the details were strangely fuzzy in his memory.
"What? So he really is your uncle's kid? But how did he end up here?"
"That's not important. What matters is that he's safe."
Genma gently picked up the sleeping baby from the ground.
Raido leaned closer to take a better look.
"This little guy is really cute."
"Well of course. Just look whose cousin he is."
"Since when did you get so full of yourself, Genma?"
"I'm just stating facts."
"Oh right—did your uncle give him a name?"
"No."
"Then Genma, you should name him."
"…Yeah, that makes sense."
Genma carried the baby and walked with Raido to the top of Hokage Rock.
Looking down at the peaceful streets of Konoha, he couldn't help but sigh.
"The Third Great Ninja War just ended. Being able to enjoy such a quiet night like this… it really wasn't easy."
He paused.
"Hmm… I've got it."
Genma looked down at the sleeping baby in his arms and said gently:
"From now on, your name will be Nagi."
"A peaceful night… huh? That's actually a pretty good name."
Raido nodded in agreement.
It truly was a good name.
