Chapter 13 - The Great Massacre

The soldier's vission went dark, his body toppled slightly backward before falling to the ground with a heavy thud.

The body fell headless, it's head flew several feet to the sky before stumbling to the ground and rolled toward the army commander's feet.

The commander's eyes widened, terror visible on his face.

Everyone present wore the same expression, they immediately drew their blades and surrounded the general, forming a large, crooked encirclement.

The general also drew his blade, together, they formed a large forest of blades and spears like a porcupine.

Roy seeing the formation, paused and spoke in a cold, amlost piercing tone.

"How dare you violet these women." Roy said, his eyes sharp like a blade, "Earlier, you were harassing and humiliating these women like they were your personal toy."

Everyone turned their heads and saw a man covered in red blood, dual blades in hands and radiated the killing intent of a war god.

On the center of the ring formation, the army general peaked through the gaps of his men and saw Roy, staring directly at him, eyes hollow and cold.

The commander swallowed a huge amount of saliva, cold sweat poured down from his forehead like a river.

Roy spoke, pointing the sword on his right hand toward the general.

"You!" He pointed, voice loud,"You were acting so arrogantly before i arrived, what happened? Did thorns suddenly prickle your throat? Let me slice them for you."

Roy was never a gentle man, when he was young he would even dare to hit a woman once his angry. But as time past and age also comes along with maturity, his temperament gradually cooled down, but old habit still overwhelms his actions.

He performed a staggering stance, and lunged forward again.

The soldiers saw Roy vanished almost instantly, the general stammered backward until his back was stabbed by a soldiers blade, he jumped back in fright and realized it was only one of his men's sword awkwardly poking out of the formation. He scolded the soldier for poor discipline, but when he looked again the soldier's head was god.

Blood sprayed all over the generals face, he stepped back and swung his sword to the right, only to hit empty air.

Soon, more soldiers collapsed.

Heads were sent flying several feet above the sky before landing on the ground with a heavy thud, soldiers immediately wore their iron helmets, thinking it would prevent their heads being cut and sent flying to the sky. It did not.

While the soldiers were distracted, Roy paused for several seconds and lead the women out of the camp, then would go back to kill more soldiers, just enough to stall time.

When the women finally reached a safe distance, Roy gesture them to hide. The women immediately tucked their heads down, while Roy ran back toward the encampment.

With the women finally rescued, Roy lift all restraint and charged directly at the formation.

The forest of sabers and spears snapped in half, soldiers were sent flying by Roy's momentum, while others immediately spun around and began swinging their blades.

The formation broke, the ones on the innermost of the circle spun around untill all of them faced one direction.

All the soldiers came charging straight at Roy, swinging and stabbing frantically. But before their attacks could hit, Roy vanished again.

Countless bodies fall almost in unison onto the ground, the soldiers tried to encircle again, but before they could, Roy would charge again from the front, shattering the formation instantly.

More and more bodies fell lifeless onto the ground, the brown earth turned into a pool of red blood, a fog of red mist surrounded the entire battlefield. Only a hundred remained standing, their faces drained of all color, their bodies were shaking uncontrollably like snow that suddenly appeared during summer.

The army general saw the chaos with wide eyes, his expression wore the same terror as his men.

Roy sat on top of the small mountain of bodies, covered in soaking red blood, his dual sword still standing upright from a soldiers back.

After an endless tactic of hit-and-run, even though he has Godlike strength and speed, he doesn't have unlimited stamina, so he casually rested for several minutes before continuing the clean up.

But to the soldiers, his posture and and stance radiated something that of a demon, a monster hungry for blood.

Roy stood up, pulled his sword from a soldier's back, blood still dripping from the edhe, once again performed a staggering stance, ready to wipe the soldier out.

He lunged forward again at full speed, the soldiers lowered their spears, Roy charged at the formation head on.

Spears snapped, soldiers flew several feet high before tumbling to the ground, blood sprayed to the ground until one person remained standing.

The army general saw his entire army fall.

By one man.

His army was wiped out by a single monster.

By the time Sor Sogon and his men arrived, the fight was already over.

Roy walked toward Sor Sogon, tossed him a small ball of thin cloth, inside, is the army generals head.
