The Workshop – Malibu Mansion
Dad… you've been dead twenty years and you're still giving me homework.
Tony stared at the 3D holographic projection of the new element, shaking his head in disbelief—equal parts admiration and reluctant filial respect.
Right then, J.A.R.V.I.S. finished running the analysis.
"Sir, the new element blueprint provided by Master Leon can completely replace palladium in your Arc Reactor. However, with our current equipment, synthesis is not possible."
"Is that so?"
Tony arched a brow.
Now that death was no longer breathing down his neck, he had fully reverted to his old, smug genius persona.
"Alright, boys," he said to Dum-E and the other robotic arms. "Time for a little extreme makeover."
"And you, Leon," he added casually, "since you're not busy flirting with half the planet, you might as well stay and help."
"How do you know I don't have important business?"
Leon rolled his eyes, then casually wrapped an arm around Arcee in Partner Mode.
"Although… once we finish this new element, we can upgrade Arcee too."
And just like that—
Tony Stark, God-Tier Mechanic, began rebuilding his workshop at astonishing speed—with Leon acting as the strongest unpaid laborer on Earth.
Phase One: Demolition
Why use wrecking balls and drilling rigs—
When you have Leon's fists?
With a series of thunderous blows, Leon reshaped the lab space in record time.
Phase Two: Fabrication
Need a custom metal part with specific dimensions?
Tony designed it.
Leon laser-cut and hand-forged a rough blank in seconds.
Tony then precision-machined it with CNC tools for finishing.
Efficiency? Ridiculous.
Once the accelerator assembly was complete—
Even Leon could operate it.
"Okay," Tony said, standing before a circular metal conduit. "Perfect balance."
He placed a hand on the valve.
"Leon, you ready?"
Across from him stood Leon—
Wearing nothing but his Ultra-Elastic Fiber Undergarment.
"Let's do it," Leon replied calmly. "If we rebuilt this lab just to blow it up in one go, I'm going to be annoyed."
Leon had volunteered as the shield.
In the original timeline, the lab was nearly sliced apart during the prism beam firing.
This time?
He would tank it.
He refused to believe the prism radiation was stronger than the "Son of Satan" nuclear chain reaction he'd endured.
"Alright," Tony said. "Good luck."
"J.A.R.V.I.S., initiate the prism accelerator."
Tony twisted the valve—
Or tried to.
It barely budged.
"…I'll handle it," Arcee said, stepping forward while Tony reached for a wrench.
With effortless strength, she turned the valve.
Tony mentally vowed to start working out again once he survived this.
A razor-thin, cold-white beam refracted through internal prisms—
And shot straight into Leon's chest.
He absorbed it deliberately, preventing further deflection.
"Hiss—!"
"Okay, that's spicy."
His skin heated, surface-level scorching visible—but nowhere near breach level.
As Arcee adjusted the valve further, Leon shifted position with the beam's trajectory—
Until it struck the equilateral triangular core assembly at the accelerator's center.
VMMMM—
Blinding white light filled the chamber.
Then—
"Sir," J.A.R.V.I.S. announced, "Congratulations. You and Master Leon have successfully synthesized a new element."
Leon raised a brow.
You and Master Leon.
Nice phrasing, J.A.R.V.I.S.
He and Tony went full chaos mode—Tony handling theory, Leon brute-forcing physics into submission.
Tony carefully extracted the newly formed element with tweezers and inserted it into a prepared miniature Arc Reactor housing.
Without even testing—
He swapped it directly into his chest.
Leon watched without stopping him.
"How does it feel?"
Tony inhaled sharply.
"…Oh, that's good."
"Like a brand-new supercar engine."
"Except coconut-flavored."
He exhaled as if surfacing from deep water.
The crushing weight of palladium poisoning was gone.
Of course—
Physically, Tony was still Tony. No superhuman boost. Just relief.
Daily Sign-In
[Prompt: Proceed with today's Daily Sign-In?]
"Reverse the board," Leon muttered.
"Do it."
[Ding! Daily Sign-In complete.]
[Congratulations, Host. You have obtained: New Element Miniature Arc Reactor Housing.]
[New Element Miniature Arc Reactor Housing: A core casing perfectly compatible with any form of new element reactor.]
[Quality: Indestructible]
[Description: I am Iron Man. Forever.]
Leon blinked.
Not particularly useful to him.
But for Tony?
Perfect.
Without hesitation, Leon moved at a speed honed over decades—
In one fluid motion, he popped Tony's freshly installed reactor back out—
And replaced it with the indestructible housing version.
"OW!"
"Leon! What the hell?!"
Tony clutched his chest, offended.
"That vibranium one's too brittle," Leon replied casually. "Gave you something tougher."
"What?!"
"There's something harder than Vibranium on Earth?!"
Tony's eyes widened.
"…Did you carve this out of your own skeleton or something?"
He glanced at the vibranium casing Leon was idly tossing in the air—
Then at the unknown material now installed in his chest.
"Wrong answer," Leon said.
"But full credit."
Tony's wild guess gave Leon an idea.
Now that the element problem was solved—
It was time to address armor material upgrades.
For Tony.
And for Arcee.
But before that…
