Chapter 69 - Arcee: Leon, I-I’m Ready… Do You Want to…?

Very quickly—

With Leon's active control and rapid regeneration, the Mark VI Armor, forged from Living Adamantium, was completed.

Tony stood before it in silence for a moment.

The new element reactor pulsed softly in his chest.

With Leon's help, he chose to put the armor on manually—piece by piece.

He could have activated automatic assembly.

But this one was different.

This was built from his brother's bones.

He wanted the ceremony.

Leon didn't argue.

"How does it feel?" Leon asked after watching Tony move through a few test motions.

"A little heavy," Tony admitted.

If the ultra-light Mark V had felt like wearing a T-shirt—

The Adamantium Mark VI felt like a thick leather jacket.

He'd need time to adapt.

But it was worth it.

The defense alone meant he could push his limits harder than ever before.

"Want to take it outside?" Leon tilted his head toward the Pacific.

Tony didn't answer.

He just launched.

No warning.

No countdown.

Unethical early start.

Leon grinned—

And shattered the sound barrier instantly.

He overtook Tony within seconds—

And from behind, delivered a merciless punch.

BOOM!!!!!

A wall of seawater erupted a hundred meters into the sky.

Leon hovered above the ocean, unmoving, as torrents of water cascaded around him—diverted by an invisible field before touching his body.

Ten seconds later—

Tony burst out of the ocean like a drunk missile, spiraling once before stabilizing.

"Were you trying to kill me?!" Tony shouted, flying up to punch Leon's chest.

"Defense test," Leon replied innocently.

The armor's back plate bore no visible damage.

That punch had been serious.

Leon's skeletal durability was even beyond what he'd assumed.

With the Mark VI's new material—

Combined with Tony's enhanced physiology and magnetic manipulation—

Tony was leagues above his previous self.

Leon could travel the world with far fewer worries now.

In terms of firepower and speed—

The Mark VI wasn't dramatically stronger than the original timeline version.

But defensively?

This was an overwhelming upgrade.

Even Leon would have difficulty forcefully dismantling it.

It was approaching a true spear-versus-shield scenario.

Granted—

Both spear and shield were technically Leon.

The fight continued over the Pacific.

Tony, clad in Mark VI, became a near-indestructible meteor—

While Leon moved so fast he left afterimages.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Tony had asked to see Leon's full power.

Leon, naturally, obliged.

Final punch—

Energy Oscillation Amplification

Armament Haki

Plus 20% Final Strength Bonus from The Fool

"AAAAAAHHHHH—!"

Tony plummeted like a falling asteroid.

He smashed into the ocean floor.

The seabed ruptured.

Shockwaves triggered undersea quakes.

Tsunamis began forming—

Leon had to counter with another punch to disperse the wave before it reached shore.

He dove to the ocean floor and retrieved Tony—

Who, even with inertial dampeners, was completely numb from the impact.

"Well?" Leon smirked, holding him by the back of the armor like a kitten.

"Y-you win," Tony muttered.

Highest praise between brothers.

Then he fainted.

"Oops," Leon said lightly. "Might've gone a little overboard."

He checked the armor.

There was a visible dent in the chest plate from that final blow.

Leon ran his hand over it.

The dent disappeared.

Scratches vanished.

The surface returned to pristine brilliance.

Living Adamantium—

Not only near-indestructible—

But highly resilient.

System-produced materials truly were outrageous.

Using your little brother's skeleton for armor?

Unmatched efficiency.

As someone once said:

When magnetic fields are invincible,

Extra bone-plates are extra lives.

Meanwhile…

Leon's Bluetooth earpiece crackled.

Arcee's voice came through.

Softer than usual.

A hint of hesitation.

"Leon… I—I'm ready. Do you want to—"

BOOM—

Before she could finish—

A streak of light tore across the sky.

Leon had already broken the sound barrier, accelerating toward the Malibu mansion.

The sonic boom swallowed the rest of her sentence.
