Leon returned to the Malibu mansion in an instant.
After handing the unconscious Tony over to Dum-E for monitoring, he rushed downstairs into Leon's private workshop without hesitation.
The door slid open.
At the center of the room stood a newly completed jet glider form—sleek silver throughout, accented with black-violet detailing.
Resting on the rider's seat was Leon's upgraded Soldier Boy suit, now fully reworked with woven Vibranium fibers.
Bang.
The blast-proof alloy door sealed shut behind him.
Within seconds, Leon had stripped down to nothing but his super-elastic fiber briefs and appeared beside Arcee in vehicle mode.
He tested the Vibranium suit first.
If Adamantium had been suitable for flexible wear—and if the System allowed him to store himself—he would absolutely have commissioned a living Adamantium bodysuit.
Unfortunately:
Adamantium was perfect for armor.
Not clothing.
And no fabric was tougher than Leon's own body anyway.
Even with his bio-field protection, human nature was human nature.
More was always better.
Adamantium excelled at pure hardness—ideal for close-combat weapons like Wolverine's claws.
Vibranium, however—
With comparable durability and energy absorption properties—
Was far better for external defense and fabric integration.
As for Vibranium's sonic vulnerability?
His Bio-Field had already filed that under "resolved."
Leon wanted something he could put on and take off instantly.
Yes, he could morph clothing from his own cells via Super Regeneration—
But that felt too close to being naked.
Unless absolutely necessary, he preferred not to.
After testing the fit, he stored the Vibranium suit in his System space.
Then—
Still in briefs—
He mounted Arcee.
As his fingers traced across her new chassis like playing a piano—
The temperature in the room rose.
Her engine responded with a low, restless hum.
"Leon…"
"Arcee. Partner Mode."
Business first.
With a series of smooth mechanical transformations—
She shifted forms.
Rigid components softened where appropriate.
Then—
Vibranium nano-molecules flowed outward from within her frame, coating her entirely.
They formed a flawless bio-synthetic skin layer.
Every strand of hair.
Every subtle expression.
Perfectly rendered.
She stood before him—
In Tifa's likeness.
But this time—
Not holographic.
Not projected.
Solid.
Real.
And consistent with Partner Mode's default configuration—
She was wearing absolutely nothing.
Leon froze.
"…Why change?" he asked, clearing his throat. "You looked great before."
"Should I change back?" she asked sweetly, pink eyes glimmering as he lifted her in a princess carry.
"No need."
"You've already changed."
"We'll go with this."
Leon followed his instincts.
The future was long.
There would be time for every variation.
His habit had always been the same:
The rarer the delicacy—
The slower he preferred to savor it.
And so—
When flowers bloom, pluck them.
Meanwhile…
When Tony regained consciousness, he wisely chose not to interrupt.
After briefly attempting to magnetically manipulate the Adamantium Mark VI—without success—he pivoted immediately.
He applied a Vibranium coating layer over the armor instead.
That changed everything.
Now—
Magnetic flight assistance.
Mid-air acceleration boosts.
Self-repair of surface damage.
With Vibranium's energy absorption added to an already absurd defensive platform—
Mark VI entered another tier.
Under Tony's magnetic control, sonic destabilization and impact fracturing became non-issues.
If damaged—
He could simply redistribute and reseal the material.
Leon had erased Tony's "insufficient firepower anxiety."
But "insufficient defense anxiety"?
That one was emerging fast.
After all—
If you faced someone like Leon—
Your genius strategy wouldn't matter if you were flattened in one slap.
"Sir," J.A.R.V.I.S. interrupted, "Miss Potts requests your presence at the company."
"Copy," Tony replied.
"J.A.R.V.I.S., bring the car arou—"
He paused.
Looked at the Mark VI.
"…Actually, never mind."
"Faster. Safer."
And far more impressive.
With a new toy in hand, Tony wanted the world to see it.
If Leon hadn't vetoed the idea of installing a waste filtration system inside the armor—
Tony would absolutely have demonstrated restroom functionality mid-flight.
Justin Hammer happened to glance through a telescope at the exact moment Tony landed atop Stark Tower.
His face twitched.
"Shit."
"He changed suits again?"
No one studies you more closely than your rival.
Hammer instantly recognized that this wasn't Mark IV or V.
"Didn't he used to rotate women slower than this?" he muttered.
His assistant replied calmly:
"With respect, sir, Tony Stark's historical peak partner rotation was one every two hours—for an entire week."
"His armor development cycle averages once every two and a half months."
"It is statistically slower."
"Is that what I asked?!" Hammer exploded.
He hurled the telescope.
It smashed against his assistant's forehead.
Blood ran down.
The man smiled professionally.
"Fix this."
"If Leon Stark is untouchable, fine. I accept that."
"But if you can't handle Tony Stark—a regular human in a metal shell—"
"Then you might as well eliminate yourself."
"Failure."
His assistant adjusted his glasses.
"Sir, Tony Stark may lack invulnerable physiology, but he does possess powered armor."
Hammer snarled.
"Then attack him when he's not wearing it!"
"What do I pay you for?!"
He was unraveling.
Stark Industries had shut down weapons manufacturing.
Hammer Industries should have dominated the market.
Stark pivoted to clean energy.
It should have collapsed.
Instead—
Quarter two revenue smashed projections.
Stark Industries surged.
Hammer stagnated.
Watching Tony get richer—
Stronger—
More admired—
While having an absurdly powerful brother as backup—
Was intolerable.
"Why?" Hammer muttered darkly.
"Why does he get everything?"
Superhero.
Billionaire.
Genius.
Backed by a demigod sibling.
Justin Hammer could not understand it.
