"What is this?"
Not long after Leon's departure, Diana presented two sets of Vibranium battle armor, each paired with a matching shield and sword, to Queen Hippolyta and General Antiope. Both women looked at her questioningly.
"These were prepared by Leon—for Mother and for you, General," Diana explained. "They can withstand almost any form of damage in this world. Once you wear them, even humanity's modern weapons will no longer be able to harm you."
"Oh?"
Hippolyta and Antiope exchanged a glance.
Antiope, ever the warrior, immediately drew her blade and struck the Vibranium armor with her full strength.
"What—?!"
Unaware of Vibranium's unique properties, she and her sword were both violently rebounded and sent flying.
The armor's surface shimmered faintly with flowing golden energy patterns—the telltale sign of kinetic absorption and redistribution—before returning to normal. Not even a scratch remained from her full-force strike.
"That child is thoughtful," Hippolyta said with a gentle smile as she accepted her set from Diana.
"And mine!"
Having personally experienced its power, Antiope wasted no time stripping off her gear and donning the custom-fitted Vibranium armor Leon had prepared for her.
Originally, Leon had intended to equip every Amazon warrior with Vibranium.
Unfortunately, his reserves of Wakandan Vibranium were limited. For now, he could only prepare two sets—for his future mother-in-law and Diana's aunt.
He had already forged much of his stockpile into weapons and equipment for himself. Reverting items using Antarctic Vibranium (Anti-Metal) wasn't worth the trouble.
Besides, Themyscira's next true crisis was still far in the future.
By then, Leon fully intended to arm the Amazons to the teeth—with Vibranium and Adamantium alike.
After delivering the armor, Diana bid farewell to Hippolyta and Antiope and set sail alone from Themyscira, once more heading toward the world of men.
Once, she had wanted to save the world—end war and bring peace to humanity.
But her journey with Leon had shown her the darkness hidden within the light. Good and evil coexisted in every heart.
Each person had to make their own choice.
No hero could decide that for them.
Now she understood.
Only love could truly save the world.
And so she chose to return—
To fight, to give, to protect, to wait—until she became a better version of herself, ready to meet Leon again someday.
And there was also the matter of the Dreamstone he had mentioned.
That would need to be recovered as well.
Diana gazed toward the distant horizon—hopeful, yet faintly lonely.
That was where the future lay.
Elsewhere.
Leon had not actually left immediately.
Since he didn't know when he would return, he needed to ensure Diana's emotional state was stable. If she were overwhelmed by grief, he would have stayed a little longer.
But it seemed the newly ascended Goddess of War was stronger than he had feared.
At that very moment, he hovered fifty thousand meters above the wooden ship she sailed upon.
He couldn't help but wonder—she could fly now, so why take a boat?
The current Diana could genuinely be called a "Superwoman."
Not only did she inherit Zeus' divine bloodline—
She had also absorbed an immense amount of divine energy personally infused by Leon.
Like widening meridians in a cultivation world, her potential had been forcibly expanded under the constant refinement of Leon's inexhaustible divine power.
In a sense—
Leon was the "yellow sun" to Diana's Superwoman.
As long as she continued to absorb the divine essence he radiated, her strength would grow at an astonishing rate.
She would approach Zeus' level eventually—perhaps even surpass it—depending on the quality of the divine energy Leon could provide.
What Leon hadn't anticipated was that the Random World Travel Card would send him to the DC Universe—a world as famous as Marvel, yet far darker in tone.
He would have liked to stay longer, to train Diana to a level that would leave even the future Superman speechless.
But in the Marvel Universe, numerous events were already set in motion.
He couldn't ignore them.
He had to return—for now.
There would be opportunities in the future to revisit DC.
And when that time came…
He was quite curious what rewards he might "check in" from figures like Superman, the Flash, Aquaman, or even Bruce Wayne.
With that thought, Leon shot forward—
Then dove straight into the dark abyss of the ocean.
At nearly the same moment, Diana seemed to sense something. She looked up toward the direction Leon had flown—yet saw nothing.
"Was that just my imagination?"
"He's barely gone, and I'm already hallucinating. That won't do."
Smack! Smack!
She lightly slapped her cheeks, deciding she needed something to focus on.
Perhaps taking up a profession among humans would help.
Deep beneath the sea.
All right, System. Your move.
Fully familiar with its methods, Leon surrendered without resistance.
BOOM!!!!!!
As if pleased by his cooperation, the System wasted no time.
Darkness descended instantly.
Leon fell into a sleep as deep as that of an infant.
Return to Marvel Universe.
