A year had passed since their magical wedding, and life on the surface felt... ordinary. Ji-wong and Ariana were now living together in a small apartment in Seoul, but their hearts often strayed to the golden coin tucked away in a velvet box. One evening, the coin began to glow with a frantic, pulsing blue light.
"The Sea King," Ariana whispered, her eyes wide. "He's calling us."
Without hesitation, they returned to the banks of the Han River. As the gold touched their foreheads, the water parted like silk. But the Sea World they returned to was not the one they remembered. The ethereal lights were dim, and the vibrant coral buildings were covered in a strange, silver frost. The Sea King looked weary. "The Water Demon had a brother," the King revealed, "a sorcerer of ice who has frozen the heart of our kingdom. Only the warmth of a bond forged on land can melt this curse."
Ji-wong gripped his rifle, but the King shook his head. "Bullets cannot break magic, Ji-wong. You must find the Sun-Pearl hidden in the Abyss of Shadows."
