"Sorry." Didn't I say that because of that video I watched? It was like a week ago, too. Seeing how tired Tyler looked, I actually felt a pang of guilt about my solo mumblings. Either way, it's only Monday and I'm already drained, whether it's from their complaints, the workload, or my lingering hangover. I'd better focus and get the job done. Do I have any meetings scheduled?
I went to check my agenda, but while I was reading the entry in the system, Ben moved slowly in his chair, rolling over to my side.
"Do you see that?"
I followed his gaze at his question, and then I also remembered how last Friday felt here in the office thanks to Alex's presence. The air seemed to thicken with anticipation.
"Today's the day we start full-time with the new bloke from Xentia. What did he say his name was again?"
