"Yeah, well... Hm, I think it's easier to say what I don't like," I told her, leaning back in my chair.
"Sure, that works for me too."
"Then, I don't like spicy food. If it's not too spicy, I'm good with anything. I can also skip eating the spicy dishes if there are plenty of options, so I don't think you guys should worry so much."
"But you don't like spicy food? Really?" She blinked at me, her eyes wide with genuine shock.
"You do?"
"I really do! Feeling how my buds burn and my body starts sweating is kind of delightful for some reason to me." She beamed, her face lighting up at the mere thought of it.
"You better be joking. Why would you like that?"
"I don't know. Maybe because I'm always cold. Having that rush of heat is kind of refreshing." She shrugged as if uninterested, but her answer was far too intriguing to be left alone.
"How can that be refreshing? I feel like I'm going numb."
