He paused, a small smirk playing on his lips. "If you tell me yours first."
"Oh, that definitely won't happen." I reached out and pressed the button for the lift again, even though it was already lit. "You'll have to live with the mystery."
"Is it something you can do but don't want to? Or is it something you want to do but can't?"
"Hahaha! Is yours something like that, Sir?" I countered, trying to keep my voice light despite the tensiowhile we wait.
"I'm just taking a guess." He shrugged, stepping back to let me enter the lift first. "It's not like you're a coward. It must be something you really can't do, Miss Burry. Something impossible."
"Ha! Sir, are you really trying to provoke me right now? Just so I'll tell you?" I said, looking at him as the lift doors slid shut, cutting off the noise of the party.
"Provoke? Does calling you a coward make you mad, Miss Burry?"
"Me? A coward? You also ran away from yours by coming with me!"
