The corridor was empty.
The lights flickered softly above as Astha and Shanaya stood in front of the old locked
room again. The same room they had discovered earlier.
The door was slightly open now.
Astha frowned . " I'm sure we locked it yesterday ."
Astha swallowed nervously . " Maybe someone came here before us..."
Slowly, i pushed the door.
Creeeeak.
The room was dark and filled with dust . Broken desks were piled on one corner, and the old cupboard stood against the wall.
Suddenly -
A whisper echoed in the room.
"... Astha..."
Both girls froze.
" Did you hear that?" Astha whispered.
Shanaya nodded slowly. Her heart was beating faster.
The voice came again, a little louder this time.
...Shanaya .....you came back....
Astha grabbed Shanaya's arm . " Someone is here!"
But when they looked around, no one was there.
The windows were closed. The door was behind them.
The room was empty.
Astha stepped forward carefully.
" Who's there?" She asked.
For a moment, everything went silent.
Then suddenly -
The old cupboard door moved by itself.
Thud.
Astha gasped. " Shanaya... It moved!"
Shanaya slowly walked toward it.
Her hands trembled as she opened the cupboard.
Inside was an old mirror covered with dust.
As Shanaya wiped the dust away, her reflection slowly appeared.
But something was wrong.
In the mirror....
Her reflection wasn't moving.
The reflection stared at her and slowly whispered -
"You finally found me"
Astha screamed.
And suddenly the lights in the room went completely dark.
From the darkness, the same voice whispered again -
" Now... The secret can begin."
