Chapter 32 - The Second Rider System

"System, start the draw!"

Shiraishi Shin commanded the system to perform a gacha draw in his mind; this system of his possessed no actual intelligence.

[Ding! Drawing in progress. Estimated time: five seconds. Five, four, three, two, one. Draw successful! Congratulations, Host, for obtaining the lost driver, a full set of 26 t2 gaia memories, plus the eternal memory (Kamen Rider Eternal's exclusive motorcycle).]

Note: The drawn Rider System has no side effects. As long as it is a Rider System, it will perfectly adapt to the Host.

Detected that the Host possesses a second set of driver. System storage function unlocked. Unused driver can be placed in the storage space and retrieved or stored at will.]

After hearing about the drawn Rider System and the final system space, Shiraishi Shin's eyes lit up. As for the content of the note in the middle, he had already known it since obtaining Cronus.

"I didn't expect it to be the lost driver and a full set of 26 t2 gaia memories. The most precious among them is the eternal memory. As the King of Memories, combined with the lost driver, it allows one to transform into Kamen Rider Eternal. As a movie-exclusive boss-level Rider, he has both the looks and the power. Although his stats are still inferior to Cronus, he's one of my favorite Riders."

After learning he had obtained the t2 gaia memories and the lost driver, Shiraishi Shin knew his second Rider System would be Kamen Rider Eternal.

In his past life, there was a meme: 'Weld the cape shut, beat Ohma Zi-O to death.' Although it's just a meme, it shows how powerful he is.

Kamen Rider Eternal's stats aren't high. He remembered the punch force being 7t, kick force 12t, jump height 150 meters, and running speed 100 meters in three seconds. Especially the jump height is amazing; even Cronus's jump is only 96 meters.

Although the physical stats aren't high, among Heisei Riders—except for a few series with insane stats—it's quite decent compared to other Rider shows.

Furthermore, the strength of a Kamen Rider isn't just about stats; there are also various settings for the Rider armor. Thus, as a movie boss, his overall strength is equal to or even greater than the final forms of some protagonists.

Moreover, Kamen Rider Eternal's stats aren't as exaggerated as Cronus's, which happened to match Shiraishi Shin's wish to showcase his own skills rather than simply relying on stat suppression.

After the draw, the number of Monster killed on the system panel was reset to zero. This meant he needed to kill 30 more Monster to draw again.

After class, Chitoge Kirisaki on the left returned the notebook to Shiraishi Shin. "Thank you, Class Monitor. Using your notebook made things much easier for me. I've copied everything down now."

Shiraishi Shin said gently, "You're welcome. You're a transfer student from America. As the Class Monitor, it's only natural for me to look after you."

Chitoge Kirisaki smiled, thinking that the Class Monitor was indeed very nice and gentle. She then asked, "By the way, Class Monitor, did you hear about the Monster and the Kamen Rider appearing at school at noon today?"

Shiraishi Shin nodded. "Yes, I know."

"More than just knowing, he was practically involved." Alya sat in her seat, her ears already perked up to listen to the conversation between Shiraishi Shin and Chitoge Kirisaki.

Chitoge Kirisaki continued, "Mahiru and I were also there at the time. We almost had a terrible accident being hit by that Monster. Fortunately, Kamen Rider Cronus appeared in front of us in an instant and stopped it. Thinking back now, I'm still a bit scared."

Scared?

Shiraishi Shin turned his head to look at Shiina Mahiru, who was sitting in the front seat surrounded by a few girls chatting and laughing. He had overlooked their feelings. He thought they wouldn't be afraid since it was resolved on the spot, but they might still have lingering memories of it.

He immediately said to Chitoge Kirisaki, "It's okay. It's already over, so don't think about it. Think more about happy things and chat with your classmates to distract yourself. That will help reduce the fear."

The ribbon tied on Chitoge Kirisaki's head fluttered twice before standing upright again. She nodded in response.

However, chatting with classmates was a bit difficult for her. Ever since the first break after she transferred yesterday, the classmates seemed to lose interest after approaching her. Plus, she didn't even know what the other students were named, let alone what topics to discuss. Forcing herself to join in would definitely lead to an awkward silence.

So, besides Shiraishi Shin, she only had Shiina Mahiru to talk to now. She realized they might be her only two friends from now on. But at the moment, Mahiru was surrounded by several other girls and seemed to be having a good time, so she couldn't go over and disturb her.

Seeing Chitoge Kirisaki just nod without saying anything else, he said to her, "Come, let's go find Mahiru."

Alya pouted unhappily and whispered in russian, "Mahiru, Mahiru... calling her so intimately. You've even touched my thigh, yet you don't come to see me. I want to talk to you more too."

Meanwhile, Chitoge Kirisaki said hesitantly, "Find Mahiru? But there are people with her."

"What's there to be afraid of? When we go over, the others will disperse on their own. Let's go."

After saying that, Shiraishi Shin put his hands in his pockets and walked toward Shiina Mahiru.

"Class... Class Monitor!"

Chitoge Kirisaki nervously followed. After taking a few steps toward Shiina Mahiru, the three girls surrounding her noticed the two of them. They said something polite and then left Mahiru's side.

"They really left. Why?"

Chitoge Kirisaki was surprised. Just as Shiraishi Shin said, the others dispersed as soon as they went over. It shouldn't be because they were afraid of the Class Monitor's authority, right? After all, the Class Monitor's charisma wasn't built on being cold or arrogant. But why was this?

Shiraishi Shin asked, "Mahiru, Kirisaki-san said you two almost got into danger at noon. Are you okay?"

Shiina Mahiru shook her head and gave a reassuring smile. She said, "I'm fine. Luckily the Kamen Rider appeared, so Chitoge and I were safe. By the way, Chitoge, is this the same Kamen Rider you met at the Super Run-Fat Mall the day before yesterday?"

Chitoge Kirisaki nodded repeatedly. "It's him. Back then, he said to the Monster holding me hostage, 'You're the one who caught her. Why would you think I'd compromise for someone unrelated?'"

"I was truly in despair at that moment. But just as the Monster was about to strike, I came to my senses and was saved by him. Those words were probably just said to make the enemy lower their guard. Thinking back now, he's really so cool. And this time, I've been saved by him twice. I don't know if it's fate or if I'm just unlucky."

Seeing the smile on Chitoge Kirisaki's face, Shiina Mahiru joked, "Chitoge, you haven't fallen for that Kamen Rider, have you? Being saved twice... heroes are a weakness for beauties."

"Pfft!"

Chitoge Kirisaki almost spat out. She retorted with an overreaction, "Th-that's impossible! How could I possibly fall for that Kamen Rider? Besides, that Kamen Rider is covered in armor. I don't know if he's handsome or ugly, let alone his age. What if he's some middle-aged uncle?"
