During the next day, Adal still hadn't received word from King Elios, which meant that they were still investigating the situation regarding Prince Bravo.
Adal did not mind. That meant that he still had to continue life as normal.
During the daytime, the guards followed him around invisibly as he worked in his library.
It had been a few days since he had seen either Juliette; however, Penelope had quickly popped in at one point to tell him that her father loved his novel and how he looked forward to when it would be published.
Adal looked forward to that day too.
By the way things were going, both his play and his novel would be released on the same day.
If everything went well, Adal's name would spread throughout the entire city, and perhaps even further afterwards.
With that being said, Penelope left for the day. She was busy and was only able to pop in for a few moments.
The fact that she couldn't stay there seemed to bother her, even if she tried not to show it.
