Adal cleaned himself in a rusty old bucket provided to him by Granny Cho.
The water was murky, but he was thankful for her kindness and decided that he would just bathe again once he arrived home.
Once dressed back in his clothes, now missing his trench coat as he had given it to the Sun Elf Queen, he returned to the main floor.
Granny Cho stood behind her counter lazily. It was a quiet day for her.
"Granny, I want to thank you for what you've done for me today."
Granny Cho turned to him, waving a dismissive hand. "It is nothing." She said, "Just stay out of trouble. I don't know what you're up to, but you're young enough to be my son! Such a young man should focus on finding a wife, having kids, and settling down. Not meddling with magics and other races."
Adal scratched his head and smiled. He decided to ignore her subtle racism at the end.
Then, he stepped closer.
"Granny, I have another favour to ask of you."
"Sure, pay up."
