Chapter 61 - Chapter Ten – The Queen Ascends

The bullet hit the floor with a soft metallic sound.

No one moved.

No one breathed.

Because what had just happened—

Was impossible.

Silence Before Power

Elena stood frozen, her hand still slightly raised.

Her chest rose and fell slowly.

But inside her—

Something had changed.

No.

Something had awakened.

Alessandro stared at her.

Not with fear.

Not with confusion.

But with something deeper.

Recognition.

Power.

Sebastian, however—

Smiled.

The Truth Unleashed

"I was wondering when it would happen," Sebastian said calmly.

Elena's eyes snapped to him.

"You knew."

"Of course."

His tone was almost amused.

"The Crown Heir doesn't just inherit authority…"

"They inherit evolution."

Adrian's voice crackled faintly through the comms,

"…I'm missing something insane right now, aren't I?"

The Energy Within

Elena looked down at her hands.

Her pulse felt… different.

Stronger.

Sharper.

Like every nerve in her body had been rewired.

She focused again.

The air around her shifted.

Subtle.

Invisible.

But real.

The glass on the nearby table trembled.

Then—

Cracked.

Alessandro Steps In

"Elena."

His voice grounded her.

She looked at him.

And just like that—

The chaos inside her settled slightly.

"I'm fine," she said.

But even she didn't believe that fully.

The Clash Continues

Sebastian moved first.

Fast.

Faster than before.

He closed the distance between them in a blur.

Alessandro met him head-on.

Their fists collided.

A brutal exchange of blows followed.

Precision.

Force.

Experience.

Sebastian struck with calculated efficiency.

Alessandro responded with raw, controlled violence.

Two kings.

One battlefield.

A Different Fight

But something was off.

Sebastian wasn't trying to win.

He was studying.

Watching.

Testing.

Elena saw it.

"You're not fighting seriously."

Sebastian blocked another strike from Alessandro.

"Of course I am."

"No," she said sharply.

"You're observing."

The Real Objective

Sebastian stepped back slightly.

And for a moment—

The fight paused.

His eyes locked onto Elena again.

"You're the objective."

Everything clicked.

This entire attack—

This entire war—

Was never about Alessandro.

It was about her.

The Queen Moves

Elena stepped forward.

"No more."

Both men turned toward her.

The air shifted again.

This time stronger.

Heavier.

The lights flickered violently.

Then exploded.

Darkness filled the room for a split second.

Emergency lights kicked in.

Red.

Dangerous.

Alive.

Power Unleashed

The force around Elena surged.

Invisible.

But undeniable.

Sebastian's expression changed for the first time.

Interest.

Real interest.

"Good."

He whispered it.

Like he had been waiting for this moment.

The Turning Point

Alessandro moved to her side instantly.

"Control it."

"I'm trying."

The pressure in the room increased.

The air felt thick.

Hard to breathe.

Even Sebastian took a small step back.

"You're stronger than I expected," he admitted.

Elena's voice was steady.

"I'm not yours."

The Break

Without warning—

The entire room shook.

Walls cracked.

Glass shattered.

A wave of force burst outward from Elena.

Sebastian was thrown backward.

Alessandro barely held his ground.

The door behind them slammed open.

Adrian rushed in with several soldiers.

"…WHAT DID I MISS?!"

The Escape

Sebastian rose slowly from the ground.

Not injured.

Just… impressed.

He adjusted his coat calmly.

"This confirms it."

Alessandro raised his weapon again.

"You're not leaving."

Sebastian smiled.

"I already have what I came for."

Elena frowned.

"What does that mean?"

But before anyone could react—

Smoke flooded the room.

Dense.

Thick.

Blinding.

Gone Again

When it cleared—

Sebastian was gone.

The room was in ruins.

Walls cracked.

Furniture destroyed.

Silence returned slowly.

Adrian looked around.

"…okay."

"Now I'm definitely confused."

The Realization

Elena's breathing slowed.

Her power faded.

But the feeling remained.

Alive beneath her skin.

Alessandro stepped closer.

"You're coming with me."

This time—

She didn't argue.

She nodded.

The Shift in Power

Outside, the battle had ended.

Syndicate forces had withdrawn again.

Like before.

Controlled.

Intentional.

Adrian exhaled.

"They hit us…"

"Tested us…"

"And left again."

Luca's earlier words echoed in everyone's mind.

This was never a full attack.

The Final Twist

Back at the harbor—

Sebastian stood once again on the deck of his ship.

Calm.

Unbothered.

A Syndicate officer approached him.

"Sir, we've retreated as ordered."

Sebastian nodded.

"And the Queen?"

The officer hesitated.

"We didn't bring her back."

Sebastian smiled faintly.

"No."

"But we didn't need to."

He turned toward the city.

Lights glowing in the distance.

"I've seen enough."

The Truth Behind the Plan

He pulled out a small device.

Activated it.

Data began uploading.

"Elena Rossi…"

"Confirmed Crown Heir."

"Power level… exceptional."

He paused.

Then added—

"Phase Three approved."

Final Scene

Back at the estate—

Elena stood on the balcony once more.

But this time—

She wasn't the same.

She looked at her hands again.

Then at the city.

Her voice was quiet.

"But powerful."

"They're not coming for the empire anymore."

Alessandro stood beside her.

"No."

"They're coming for you."

Elena nodded slowly.

"And this time…"

Her eyes hardened.

"…I'll be ready."
