The bus ride was complete chaos.
Music blasted from almost every phone.
People were shouting across the aisle. Snacks were being passed around like we were on a world tour instead of a school trip.
I stepped onto the bus and immediately spotted Tae sitting by the window, one arm stretched across the empty seat beside him.
Tae: Saved you a seat.
He flashed that lazy grin that always made him look way too proud of himself.
I slid into the seat next to him.
Y/N: You mean you saved yourself a seat.
Tae: Wow. After everything I do for you?
He gasped dramatically, placing a hand over his chest.
Y/N: Oh please. Name one thing.
Tae: I let you sit next to me. That's a privilege.
From the seat behind us, Lilly leaned forward between the seats.
Lilly: You two are literally inseparable!
Y/N: We are not. Be quiet and mind your own business.
I tried to sound serious, but I was already laughing.
Tae: She says that, but she'd cry if I sat somewhere else.
Y/N: In your dreams.
The bus suddenly moved, making everyone cheer loudly.
That's when I felt it.
A stare.
I turned slightly and saw Kookie across the aisle. He wasn't laughing. He wasn't talking.
He was just looking at us.
The moment our eyes met, he looked away.
