Adrian lifted his head from Matteo's chest, his eyes wide as he stared up at his partner. A wave of surprise washed over him. He hadn't expected Matteo to be this thoughtful, let alone offer to prepare gifts for the very family that had caused their tension earlier.
Faltering slightly, Adrian stammered, "Are you sure... I mean, I can prepare everything myself, baby. I don't want to trouble you or your men."
Matteo looked down at him, his expression softening into one of pure affection. "It's no trouble at all, babe," he said. "I want to do it. Just give me a list of what you need, and I'll have everything taken care of."
Overwhelmed by the unconditional care, Adrian leaned up and pressed a soft, lingering kiss over Matteo's heart.
"Thank you, Daddy," he whispered affectionately. "I'll let you know tomorrow morning once I've finalized what I want to bring."
Matteo wrapped his arm a little tighter around him. "Alright, babe."
