Frank:What do you mean—?
Before Frank could even type another word, a sharp, echoing chime cut through the silence.
Ding-dong.
A firm knock followed immediately at his front door.
Frank froze, staring at his phone screen in complete confusion.
Frowning, he tossed the phone onto the bed, quickly slipped out of his bedroom, and walked down the quiet hallway toward the entrance.
He reached for the doorknob and pulled the door open.
The moment the door opened, Frank's breath hitched, his eyes widening as his brain struggled to catch up with reality. Standing right there on his doorstep, holding a small travel bag with a soft, knowing smirk on his lips, was Raphael.
For a long, stunned second, Frank stood there like a statue, completely paralyzed by the surprise.
Before Frank could even form a single syllable, Raphael stepped smoothly across the threshold and lunged forward. He wrapped his arms tightly around Frank's waist, burying his face in the crook of Frank's neck.
