Matteo smiled against his hair. "I can live with that. But only because I know I'll finally get to call you my husband."
Adrian tilted his head back, a teasing smile playing on his lips. "Alright, husband-to-be, let's get up and freshen up so we can head downstairs for breakfast."
Matteo didn't move. Instead, he tightened his hold slightly, a thoughtful look crossing his face. "Not yet. Send your friends a message ahead of time to let them know about the wedding. Tell them the formal invitations will reach them before Friday."
Adrian blinked, considering it. "Alright. I'll do that after you leave for work."
"I'll handle my side of the guest list today, too," Matteo added, his thumb tracing soothing circles against Adrian's back.
"Even though we're doing it on short notice, we really should send out proper invitations rather than just giving them a casual heads-up," Adrian said, resting his chin on Matteo's chest.
