Orga came personally to the brig to let me out. The door open with a loud clank.
"So you know what you did wrong Kagura?" Asked Orga
"Hmmm yes, but actually no. I told you I'd give him a chance he blew it" I said standing up and walking passed him into the hall. Orga just sighed and gave up knowing he'd get nowhere. I was 10 feet down the hall when he called out to me.
"Old man Nadi has gone over the data in the flash drive. Honestly your machine is absurd even more so than the Barabatos. The Old was freaking out how much experimental tech was on it." Said Orga
'Hmmph praise me more boy.' Said Paimon
"Ughh, can you stop being a narcissist for five minutes?" I said with a groan.
"Huh?" said Orga confused with my statement. Paimon said nothing.
"Oh right you can't hear her and I haven't explained that yet." I said
"Kagura are you okay? You've been talking to yourself, or saying stuff that made no sense ever sense the battle." Said Orga with a concerned look on his face.
"So here's the thing as you know Gundam Paimon had a lot of experimental tech on it, correct?" I said
"Yessss, what are you getting at Kagura?" Asked Orga
"So all the 72 Gundams had a assistive Ai. The first 71s AI's were semi-sentient, but as the last one built Paimon was given a more advanced Ai she's fully sentient. I believe you also saw the info on the ARS system. So funny unintended consequences of having a fully sentient ai and a more advanced version of the Alaya-Vijana system, she kinda downloaded herself into my brain via my alaya vijana pseudo organ." I explained while Orga gave me a look like I had lost my marbles.
"Yeah I know it's sounds crazy but that's what happened. She had access to the research data base during her development phase so she knows a lot. Like fun fact there are 70 other machines besides My Paimon and Mika's Barbatos." I Said trying to prove I wasn't crazy well more crazy.
Orga sighed.
"Okay I'll tentatively believe you. Paimon's AI… shes not going to hinder us is she?" Asked Orga
"No she can't, but you can probably imagine how dealing with a constant whole other person…Ai… thing in your head talking would be." I said
Orga gave me a look of sympathy.
"Anyway changing the subject. How's the change over from CGS to Tekkadan?" I asked
Orga sighed again.
"Not good, the dumbass as you call him ran off with most of CGS's funds." Said Orga
"Tch, of course he did." I said clicking my tongue
"What about the princess? we still taking the contract?" I asked
"Don't have much of a choice if we want to stay a float." Said Orga
"True, we really don't have much of a choice do we." I said
'I noticed one of the grazes Mika defeated was relatively in one piece. You could repair it and you'd have an extra mobile suit on hand. You could also sell the scrap from the Mobile workers that are beyond repair. That way you can gets some money to keep afloat until either you complete the job or you get some real backing' said Paimon
"Oh that's a good idea Paimon" I said
'Hmph of course it was my idea afterall' said Paimon
I've decided to just ignore her narcissism from now on.
"What idea did the AI in your brain come up with?" Asked Orga
"Oh right, Paimon suggests we fix up that Graze Mika beat, and sell the mobile workers that can't be fixed as scrap for some cash to keep us afloat till the job is done or we can get some backing" I asked
"that's is a good plan it would help us get cash and give us another weapon plus we could always sell the Graze if we get something better. I'll tell the old man to get to work on it. Afterwards I'll assign Akahiro as its pilot." Said Orga
"Cool sounds like a plan. Oh that reminds me actually you should make sure to warn everyone one to not try to pilot Paimon."
"Why?" Asked Orga.
"Because Paimon will fry their brain if anyone besides me tries to do so." I said nonchalantly
"Of course it will sure I'll let everyone know that too, anything else or can I go inform people and then go secure the spaceship so we can leave on the job soon. Oh also Arata joined as kitchen staff recently and was asking about you." Said Orga
"Hmm nope that's everything. You go deal with your leader stuff I'll go talk to Arata and then check on Mika, byyyyeeee." I said running off.
I ran over to the mess hall where I spotted Arata… and Mika. I smile mischievously and hid around the corner watching their interaction.
'Honestly how dense is that boy that girl is clearly in love him' said Paimon
'I know, I know. hmm actually something just popped in my head that I never considered before.' I said responding to Paimon.
'Oh and what's that?' Said Paimon
'Well one were child soldiers and Mika's kinda always been indifferent to everyone less so to Me and Orga as we grew up together but still indifferent. Two he might actually be aware that Arata likes him in some form and has no idea how to respond to it. Considering this and the aforementioned indifference we wouldn't even notice if he was unsure how to proceed with Arata's fondness for him.' I said to Paimon
'That… makes a lot of sense actually. So you gonna do something about it.' Asked Paimon
'Y'know, I know you literally know everything about me because you can read my memories, but yeah' I said
'Oh I don't know just that I know all your measurements to, Double Es for the record' said Paimon
I almost stumbled because that came out of nowhere I though I was well endowed, but I had no frame of reference after all only girl here, but besides the point. Off to make things awkward for Arata and Mika. One of things I've gotten good at in recent years is sneaking up on people, even Mika. Which was difficult he's got crazy intuition and instincts. Anyway, as soon I was behind him I pushed him into Arata and bullseye he landed lips first on her lips. I just smiled with a victorious cheeky grin. After realizing what happened Arata squeaked and ran off blushing so much she looked like a tomato, wait what's a tomato. Eh, probably info paimon gave without telling me. Oh Mika's getting up now.
"Hey so tell your big sis all about your first kiss." I said with the cheeky smug grin on my face.
Mika stared at me with his deadpan expression. "Good… I think." Said Mika as monotone as ever.
I sighed my smug grin gone.
"Yeah that tracks with you. I knew I shouldn't have expected anything different from you. Just don't make her sad and don't die it would make all of us sad especially Arata." I said my mood ruined by Mika's indifference.
"Oh, that reminds me Orga sent me to grab you for departure so you should probably go grab Arata as well." I said
'Well, that happened.' I thought
'From a purely objective standpoint it's clear you care about him. I'd say by bare minimum of how you treat him you could call yourself a good sister.' Said Paimon
'Thanks Paimon why do you know so much non history and milita stuff btw.'
'I used the database they hooked me up to as a backdoor into the labs mainframe and from there the internet… for the record it's 90% pornographic material and 9% cute animal videos the remaining 1% is useful stuff. I know that doesn't sound like a lot but the internet is immense. Though that also says something about how degenerate you humans can be. Btw when are you gonna get laid I can feel your hormone and honestly their annoying.' Said Paimon
At first I was impressed. Now I'm insulted.
'Hey come on paimon you can read my mind. You know damn well I don't wants some whore off the street. I want someone I can form a connection with.' I said annoyed
'Kehehehehhe, I know but seeing your reactions is so fun.' Said Paimon
'Come on let's go meet up with Orga.' I grumbled internally.
Authors note: next chapter we're finally leaving mars might not release a chapter on Sunday because daily releases are taking a toll on me.
