Chloe Sinclair was genuinely startled by Jasper Shaw's extravagant offer.
"The experiment is already halfway done. Once I calculate the critical temperature, all I need to do is build a model. It won't cost much."
Jasper Shaw paused for a moment before asking, "Do you need a site for it?"
He quickly sifted through the properties he owned, and a few ideal options came to mind.
Just as he was about to offer one to Chloe Sinclair, she shook her head. "The open space outside the lab is big enough."
Jasper Shaw was a little disappointed.
Ian Winters glanced at his boss in the rearview mirror, unsure whether to laugh or cry.
'That has to be the first person I've ever seen who's disappointed he can't give a house away.'
The moment he started to snicker, he looked up and met Jasper Shaw's hawk-like eyes staring intently at him in the rearview mirror.
"Just drive."
