Jasper Shaw had wanted to say that he could have her back, too, but when he thought about his relationship with Chloe Sinclair, he didn't know how to bring it up.
Chloe Sinclair paused for a moment, then a slow smile spread across her face. Looking at the disappointment in Jasper Shaw's eyes, she asked, "Can't I ask Mr. Shaw to have my back?"
Jasper Shaw's expression faltered. When he processed her words, he nodded slowly and said earnestly, "You can."

Jasper Shaw watched the scenery blur past the window and said, "Give the order. Make sure those former roommates of Chloe's are never seen again."
