"All right, I'm going to take a shower."
Chloe Sinclair decided to stop teasing Jasper Shaw, grabbed a change of clothes, and went into the bathroom.
Before Jasper Shaw could react, the bathroom door clicked shut.
Rubbing his nose, Jasper Shaw felt uncharacteristically awkward.
Half an hour later, Chloe Sinclair realized she had forgotten her clothes. But at that moment, Jasper Shaw was in the middle of a remote meeting.
So, she poked her head out of the bathroom, unsure how to get his attention.
Just then, Jasper Shaw glanced toward the head peeking out of the bathroom. He paused mid-sentence, turned to her, and asked, "What's wrong?"
Chloe Sinclair hesitated for a moment, then mouthed the word "clothes."
Fortunately, Jasper Shaw knew Chloe Sinclair well enough. He stood up from the sofa and immediately spotted the shirt she had dropped beside it.
He said to the others on the call, "I'll be back in a minute."
