The assistant wore a polite smile as he offered a business card with both hands. "Mr. Preston, Miss Quincy, Mr. Lockwood specifically asked me to give this to you."
Sonia Quincy frowned as she took the card and glanced at the name. "Desmond Abbott. Who's that?"
The assistant patiently explained, "This Dr. Abbott is one of the top obstetricians in Aethelburg. He's very well-known in the medical community. Ordinary people have to wait in line for at least six months just to get an appointment."
"...And?" Sonia didn't understand why he was spouting all this nonsense.
"And so, Mr. Lockwood made a special call to Dr. Abbott. Whenever Miss Quincy needs him, you can contact him at any time. No appointment needed, no waiting in line."
"Miss Quincy and Mr. Lockwood knew each other, after all. Now that you're pregnant and life is so difficult, Mr. Lockwood naturally wants to help however he can."
Sonia was speechless.
