"Sonia Quincy..." Felix Preston had never heard that name before. He glanced back at Sonia's pouting figure, a hint of a smile gracing his narrow phoenix eyes. "Quite the personality."
His friend said, "She sure is. A lot of guys at school are after her."
"Is that so?" Felix asked nonchalantly.
His friend nodded. "Yeah. But unfortunately, she already has a boyfriend. I hear they've been together for almost a year."
"Oh." Felix appeared indifferent, but deep down, he felt a small pang of disappointment.
Thanks to this friend, Felix would catch glimpses of Sonia Quincy from time to time for a long while after that.
Sonia was always dressed beautifully, like a magical little fairy. Every time Felix saw her, his gaze would linger on her for an extra second or two.
Four years had passed. Sonia was no longer the little heiress of the Aethelburg Quincy family, but his wife—Felix Preston's wife.
