Willow Quincy raised an eyebrow. His face was smiling, but his eyes were frighteningly cold. "Defending him so fiercely?"
Sonia tilted her head to look at him, her tone firm. "Of course. Felix Preston is my husband and the father of my child. It's only right that I defend him."
"Hah..." Willow Quincy let out a laugh, his smile arrogant and sinister. "There are so many men in the world. Your husband doesn't have to be Felix Preston. Your child doesn't have to call only him 'Dad'. And your protection isn't something only he gets to enjoy."
