As Arjun was reiterating those words again and again they had already reached the goddess statue inside the temple. Arjun did not realize it till standing in front of the statue that they had come so far.
But surprisingly as Arjun stared at the goddess's eyes it gave Arjun strange courage that he could face anything in the world, all he had to do was think and act with a peaceful mind. Arjun did not know where this thought came from and could only look at the goddess and thank her for the guidance.
He promised to himself that he would do his best to help more people in the future as Arjun firmly believed that helping others was the most holy thing to do in the universe.
Arjun spent another half hour inside the temple taking in the peaceful atmosphere. He did not know what was the change but the temple atmosphere helped him calm down a lot more.
As Arjun and Bhargav headed down the hill however the same Sadhu came back this time but with a smile on his face and did not speak gibberish unlike his earlier behavior and just stared at Arjun and blessed him mentioning Arjun would be back here soon and sent him on his way.
Bhargav was confused by all this and why Arjun would respect some run off the mill Swamiji but held back his questions as they were still in the temple surroundings and did not feel it was the right place to do so.
Once they were out however Bhargav bombarded Arjun with questions which Arjun did not have answers to. All he could do was he had an accident in the past in the month of may and he felt Sadhu was reminding him about it which made Arjun look at him in a new light and wanted to get more information from him which the Sadhu unfortunately paid no mind to.
Bhargav was surprised with this explanation he did not know whether Arjun really had the accident or not but felt there was more to it. Since Arjun had his lips sealed there was nothing much he could do about it as he himself till this day could never get Arjun to speak about something if he decided not to. But he promised to himself to visit the temple in the future to do more thorough enquiry about the Swami.
Meanwhile Arjun was once again ruminating the words Swami had said but he could not imagine what more he could do to ensure the safety of his family. He wanted to get the gun permit for Balram sooner but had neither the capacity or reason to get it as he was still starting out.
Even people in the village would be freaked out if they saw a guard walking around with a gun in his hand as guns were never really regarded as tools for safety in India but as tools of destruction. Especially the two hundred years of suppression just because of the difference in fire power still left people hate those devices whole heartedly.
When Bhargav question where to next Arjun wanted to return to his hotel to have some breakfast as the climbing up and down the hill on empty stomach took out all the energy out of him. Bhargav obliged and they returned back to the hotel and had their breakfast and had some rest before going out again.
Although this was a working day Arjun had taken permission from his father to take a day off using the excuse of ordering the other stuff Vladimir wanted. Even though this was an excuse there was some truth to it Arjun had yet to figure out what to do with the left over one lakh rubles as Vladimir gave him full freedom on the stuff he could buy with those.
There weren't may unique products that were natively produced in India other than some foods and oils but they were already buying around five lakh ruble worth of food products, Arjun did not want Vladimir to get the impression that he could only procure food products.
Arjun had his ideas though, he felt clothing was a good place to start as the good quality clothing produced locally would be absolutely worth the money especially during these times when most people had yet to figure out how to use cheap quality stuff for the high end products and cheat the customers.
He headed to Chirala which was renowned for it's handloom industry through out the state. Arjun wanted them to produce home textiles as a starter as he felt this would be the perfect starting point and not feel too out of place in the Russian clothing industry.
He could perhaps sell the cotton apparel but it would be tough to sell them initially without proper branding in place but stuff like bed sheets, curtains and table clothes would be much more sellable and they could slowly build their brand from there.
Bhargav too was convinced by the idea, Though he did not understand how Arjun could have such a thorough understanding of the western markets his reasoning made sense at least on paper and anyway Vladimir had given Arjun free reign on those one lakh ruble so even if they did not sell much they could shift to some other products down the line.
But Arjun did not feel the same, if a product he suggests fails to sell and incurs some losses his stainless reputation which he worked so hard for would be down the drain and he did not want that to happen.
Bhargav then brought up the topic of Russian economy and war which made the next hour go by in a flash and they soon reached Chirala where Bhargav enquired for the biggest textile producers in the area and directly headed there.
Since the export industry already existed and some producers in Chirala already shipped to western countries they didn't have to explain much and just needed to mention their order quantity to get to meet the owner of Asha garments and Co., which was the biggest textile company in the surrounding area.
The owner Rambabu who was bald but still looked like he was in his early thirties and wore plain white shirt and dhoti invited them in started his conversation with Bhargav about their requirements but noticing Bhargav staring at Arjun he understood the kid was the main decision maker and quickly apologized for his rudeness and stared at Arjun waiting for his response.
Arjun mentioned about his idea about exporting Premium Bedsheets and curtains and stuff and asked for samples from Rambabu.
Ram was already very familiar with the foreign market and exclaimed this was the perfect choice and showed them his latest products of each category.
Arjun went through them and took a while to collect his thoughts about them. Even though the quality was absolutely top notch he felt the designs were not really up to par.
The usage of old hindu symbols and old Indian art was prevalent through out them and Arjun wanted to remove them and instead asked for some simpler designs.
Even though Rambabu was skeptical he showed Arjun some of their other designs which were generally used on sarees which Arjun felt were much more suitable. He asked for more designs which made use of flowers and leaves as this was the most prevalent designs for bedsheets during his time in the future.
After going through all the designs Arjun chose some of them which he felt would be appropriate for the Russian market and placed them on the side and started negotiating about the prices.
He wanted the bedsheets to be considerably thinner than how they were being produced now which completely baffled the owner Rambabu. He wondered to himself why people would buy such thin bedsheets that too in such cold environments but still went ahead and explained the prices for much thinner fabric which made the costs go down by almost fifty percent.
Arjun made sure to order most of the fabrics in color blue or white as they were the most sellable stuff which convinced the owner that this kid at least had some business sense.
Rambabu proposed the price of two hundred rupees for a set of bedsheet which came along with couple of pillow covers but Arjun was not really satisfied with the price he was being offered.
Even though they were made of the most premium quality material two hundred rupees for a simple bedsheet felt too much and Arjun laid out his reasoning straight on the owners face.
After some back and forth and owner learning about the volume Arjun was willing to buy which was around three lakh they settled at one hundred seventy rupees for the bedsheets and ninety rupees for the curtains. Since this factory did not produce table clothes Arjun did not buy any of them and instead focused entirely on bedsheets and curtains.
