He warned Rambabu very strictly that he would make sure to check every cloth that would be delivered and any loss in quality would mean rejected product and made sure Rambabu sign the contract which had all the terms to make sure he wouldn't go back on his words. Once they were done Arjun and Bhargav started their return to their village as it was already noon and it would be evening by the time they reached the village. Arjun was sure Pratap would absolutely grill him if he delayed any further than that.
By the time they reached home it was already evening and Arjun directly headed to the press to spend some time over there. Arjun did not want to home yet as he was sure his parents would make him sit in front of the books for at least a couple of hours which he did not want to do at all.
Since Karan was still at the press Arjun joined him in going over the accounts and making sure their stocks were kept in a safe place with proper maintenance and they both headed to the beachside to play kabaddi for a while. Since it was already getting dark they could not play any ball sports and they joined along and played kabaddi which Arjun enjoyed a lot as he was playing Kabaddi after a long while and felt he needed this for relaxation after the shock the Sadhu had given him earlier in the morning.
As he was returning he spotted Balram returning from the construction site and they both discussed the proceedings for a while. Arjun enquired about the construction progress and asked if there was anything he could do to help them but Balram denied the help courteously.
Arjun then brought up the topic of hiring more security guards which left Balram dumbstruck, he himself was watching birds most of the time in his duty and had to purposefully involve himself in some or the other work just to pass time. Now this kid wanted to hire another couple of body guards and that too preferably the ones who had military background.
Balram tried to convince Arjun otherwise but Arjun did not let go of his new plans and was adamant that they needed more security for the factory. Arjun wanted to try his best to keep his family safe, if it would cost some few thousand rupees a month to do so he did not mind throwing the money away one bit.
Being in the complete dark about the future that too when there was a serious threat on the line was a very scary feeling for Arjun. Even in his previous life when he had lost almost all his savings and his company was on verge of bankruptcy Arjun never felt this scared.
Perhaps he would not have felt such way if the threat was on himself but when the threat was on his own family it was almost like a knife hanging around his neck and that too an invisible knife which he did not even know how to get rid of as of now.
As for convincing his parents about the extra security Arjun decided to come up with some excuse down the line but he felt the need to hire them as soon as possible. Balram promised Arjun to do his best as he was not in contact with any of his army mates right now. When Arjun promised to double the salary of everyone of them though he accepted immediately and mentioned the new guards would be in village within the next week by the time their new factory opened.
Arjun did not mind Balram misunderstanding that the guards were for the factory as he felt this was a perfect excuse for the people outside and others in the village but still convincing three people as security guards for a medium scale factory might be tough but he could make use of different shifts to cover it up he thought to himself and went ahead to meet up with Lalitha alongside Balram.
Lalitha noticing her brother coming with Arjun quickly offered them some juice while she asked if Arjun had some work for her. She just like Balram was bored with her current job as most of the time there was nothing much for her to do too.
Arjun then mentioned about the upcoming event of the press success meetup on the upcoming Sunday. There were not many suitable places to hold such a meet in their village. Even though Arjun could borrow Madan's office as the meet was on a government holiday he felt it would be very inappropriate thing to do especially when he was going to announce the success figures to partners in the business.
He instead wanted to build a small scale shed on the beach away from the village and fishing port in such a way that it would not only be useful for this one time but would benefit the village on the long term. He could already imagine kids enjoying the shade of the shed while they enjoy themselves in the beach and explained his thoughts to Balram and Lalitha.
He wanted them to coordinate with the construction team which was already here and put forth thirty thousand for the build. He reasoned this would be enough to make a small to medium scale shed on the side of the beach and placed this responsibility on the brother and sister.
Lalitha was very excited after Arjun made this proposition, this was the first time Arjun had allocated her some proper work where she could show off her skills and did not want to let him down and promised Arjun that she would do her absolute best in getting the task done. Since they only had another five days left they had to hurry up with the negotiations and start the build as soon as possible and the three of them together discussed on how Arjun wanted the build to look like and Lalitha noted down the instructions in a book.
After Arjun was done with the juice he left on his way while the brother and sister were excitedly discussing about the task Arjun had given them.
When Arjun entered his home Saritha noticing someone had entered turned her head to take a look and noticing it was her brother she hurried to him and hugged and started crying. Arjun did not think leaving for a couple of days would impact the kid so much but still hugged her back and consoled her slowly.
After consoling for a while however Arjun understood that she was not crying for missing him but it was for another reason. Sari explained that the teachers at the school confiscated her bracelet cum bangle saying such things were banned at school but Arjun was sure there was no such rule and this kid must have done something cheeky.
He promised to Sari that he would get the bangle back the next day when he visits school and shifted her mind to other topics to stop the weeping. Once she recovered he closed her eyes and showed her the new dress he bought for her on his trip.
It was a black frock with some shiny beads which Sari fell in love with instantly but Arjun asked her to stop and mentioned it was for the upcoming event and when Sari enquired more about it and came to learn there was soon going to be an event on the upcoming Sunday she was absolutely elated.
She had always gone to other's events but never been to event that her own family hosted and was more curios about it. When she heard from Arjun that the event was going to be on the beach side she was even more excited meanwhile Arjun was regretting his decision already as taking a kid for an event on the beach was never a good idea but since most of the village people were like their family he did not need to worry much about her safety and just had to make sure she stays away from the water.
Kavitha who came out from the kitchen saw the black frock Arjun had bought for his sister and complimented his taste, even though black was usually shunned in these days, Kavitha who did a degree in art was more knowledgeable about how black can elevate a persons looks unlike any other color out there.
Once Pratap joined Arjun narrated what he had done in the past three days in the city as this had almost become their routine whenever Arjun returned from the city.
When Arjun mentioned about ordering textiles Kavitha perked up her ears and stared eagerly at her son but when she learned that the designs were already pre made she was disappointed a bit but did not mind it as Arjun mentioned how pressed for time they were.
