Su Yu was focused on wiping the fish bones and didn't notice his movements at first. He drew closer and closer, until he had moved his entire lower body right in front of her.
She froze for a moment, looking up at the expressionless Bone Fish-tailed Merfolk. Then she looked down at the lower half of his tail, which was stained with blood and dust. "You mean," she asked tentatively, "you want me to wash this skeletal part of your tail, too?"
He still didn't speak, but his single eye brightened slightly.
Su Yu understood.
But looking at his lower body, Su Yu grew conflicted.
'Washing the fish bones was fine. Even assembling his tail was okay. But... washing the White Bone Fish Tail that was part of his lower body just felt a little strange.'
'The remaining half of his fish tail was only about as long as her arm and was very close to his abdomen. If she were to do it, she would feel like she was being inappropriate with him.'
