Alek didn't hold back, recounting to Bruce and Nelson how he encountered Su Yu and her party at the ruins of the Beast God Hall, and how she had slain the Western Beast God's Evil Thought.
After he finished speaking, something dawned on him. He frowned at Bruce. "That's not right. The ruins of the Beast God Hall aren't that far from here. The Western Beast God's Evil Thought made such a huge scene, and you didn't feel a single thing?"
"Forget the commotion from the fight—just the Western Beast God's Evil Thought's appearance, that colossal form that nearly blotted out the sky. Did you really not notice it at all, Bruce?"
"No." The amount of information Bruce had to process was immense. He shook his head. "I didn't feel a thing."
"Then it seems the lingering Barrier at the ruins of the Beast God Hall must have been protecting you," Alek sighed, muttering.
The Beast Skin tent fell silent. Neither Nelson nor Alek spoke, giving Bruce time to process the information.
