She paused, then said, "However, this Beast King Competition won't just be open to males. It must be open to females as well."
"Both females and males can participate. Whoever is strongest will take the title of Beast King."
Bruce had just heard her agree and hadn't even had a chance to celebrate before her next words left him completely dumbfounded. "Huh? Females can participate too? This... This..."
Fighting and killing had always been something males did.
In Bruce's view, females were delicate and fragile. Even if they awakened a superpower, they rarely had the opportunity to use it.
Besides, the participants in the Beast King Competition would all be incredibly powerful. Letting females join... wasn't that a joke?
"Females have superpowers too, don't they?" Su Yu's voice was gentle. "And as long as they have superpowers, it means they can practice Cultivation and fight. If the Beast King Competition is to remain fair and just, then you can't exclude females."
