If he were to fight with his true, unrestricted power, he would truly be a walking catastrophe and a force of destruction in every sense of the word. He could easily flatten massive mountain ranges and turn them into mere dust with simple punches; he could split the very crust of the earth and trigger colossal earthquakes with the force of his strikes enhanced by the Gravity Fist technique, capable of causing monumental damage.
However, despite all this terrifying and immense power he now possesses, there is still one thing that concerns Dan slightly and keeps him cautious and reserved: the Sage of the Six Paths himself, Hagoromo Otsutsutsuki, the father of Ashura and Indra, as well as his brother Hamura Otsutsutsuki, who lives on the moon according to Dan's knowledge from the anime. Although Dan knows well from his prior information that the Sage of the Six Paths has already died in this era—or at least his physical body has—he also knows that his powerful spirit remains watchful and observant in the shadows of this world for centuries to come, monitoring his lineage and occasionally intervening in major events. This is what worries him. At this moment, he does not feel full confidence that he has truly reached the level of the Sage of the Six Paths' genuine strength—that powerful being of alien descent who once sealed his own mother, Kaguya herself. Although Dan feels that he is not very far from that level, and the gap is not as vast as it once was, he has not reached it yet, and he remains honest with himself in this assessment. He believes, based on his accurate calculations and estimates, that he will finally reach the power level of the Sage of the Six Paths after he finishes inventing and mastering a new, special technique idea he intends to work on and develop in the coming years; a very advanced technique.
Therefore, for now, considering all these factors and the potential risks existing in the outside world, Dan still strongly and wisely prefers that he and his entire family remain in complete isolation and away from public view. This is the safest and most prudent decision for him currently. Even in the future, when his family begins to communicate and interact with the outside world in a limited fashion, they will strictly maintain isolation as a fundamental principle. Only specific and carefully selected members of the family will be permitted to leave the base and go into the outside world, solely to fulfill specific tasks assigned to them by Dan, such as gathering information, obtaining certain resources, or establishing limited trade relations—but always under strict supervision and with extreme caution. Dan never wanted his family to become involved or dragged in any way into the era of madness, chaos, and bloody wars carved by Ashura and Indra through their eternal conflict. Instead, the Walt family will always remain a hidden, isolated, and powerful family, far from the world and its struggles.
Furthermore, as is clear from his inherently selfish nature, he has never been interested in ending wars, saving the world, establishing peace, or any of that idealistic nonsense that heroes might seek in stories. He did not want to get involved at all with the mentally unstable members of the Uchiha clan and their curse, nor with the Senju clan, their traditional enemies, and their eternal wars, or any of that chaos. At least not in his current situation; perhaps in the very distant future, should Dan reach a truly god-like level of power—a level that places him above any potential threat in this universe—only then might he consider intervening in world affairs if he so desires. But until then, he will remain distant, isolated, and focused solely on himself and his family.
This is especially true because Dan knows very well from his knowledge of the anime that the waters of this world are very, very deep and full of lurking dangers and monsters. There are many highly dangerous threats that most people know nothing about. There is Isshiki Otsutsutsuki, that incredibly powerful alien being who has been waiting in the shadows since Kaguya betrayed him. There is Kaguya herself, the sealed mother, who despite being sealed, still has her will present and working through Black Zetsu to revive her. And of course, there is the full Otsutsutsuki clan that will appear in the distant future—that clan of powerful extraterrestrial beings who will pose the greatest and most dangerous threat in the future. All these immense and terrifying threats exist in this world, most of them hidden and unknown to ordinary people, and he takes them into account in his plans.
Thus, his full focus now and in the foreseeable future is solely on continuous training, permanent progress, and raising his strength to a higher and higher level without stopping, until he one day reaches a level that makes him capable of facing any threat, no matter how great. His family will also follow the same line and approach he has established. Dan will ensure with all his might that his family stays on this path, and he will never allow them to deviate from it, become distracted, grow weak, or get involved in useless external conflicts. The Walt family will be a strong, independent, and isolated family, building its strength in the shadows away from sight, until the right day comes when they are strong enough to appear to the world if they wish, or to remain hidden if they so choose. Then, Dan raised his head to the sky glowing with stars, looking at the full moon shining in the heavens, and wondered silently if Hamura Otsutsutsuki was watching him from there. Then, he shook his head and laughed softly.
