Dan looked at the young girl who was deeply bowed in front of him on the blood-stained ground. Her forehead was pressed against the floor in a posture of complete submission and respect.
Then, as usual, he spoke in a calm, cold, and direct voice:
"Alright. I've helped you achieve your full revenge against the ones who killed your family. I hope you live a good and stable life from now on."
He paused for a brief moment, then continued in a final tone:
"Goodbye."
And then—he suddenly disappeared completely from his place. No trace, no sound. A complete and instant vanishing.
The teenage girl quickly and suddenly raised her head, her eyes searching for him—
But he was gone. Completely gone. The place was empty. The room was silent. The blue-haired stranger had left.
A brief moment of silence filled the space, followed by sudden realization in her mind.
Then she made a quick decision, without thinking much.
Suddenly—without any hesitation—
She raised the sharp dagger still trembling in her hand and pointed it directly at her own neck.
A fast and decisive motion, without even a trace of fear.
With a clear intent to die.
But just as the blade was about to touch the skin of her neck—
She froze completely.
She could no longer move at all.
Her entire body stopped. Her muscles locked. Her raised hand remained suspended in the air, the dagger only millimeters away from ending her life.
Then Dan appeared in front of her again—just as suddenly as he had disappeared.
He stared at her directly with cold eyes.
And thought to himself with clear annoyance:
"This is really troublesome."
He let out an internal sigh. A sense of complication. An unexpected responsibility.
Then he spoke in a cold, firm voice, asking her directly:
"What makes you try to end your life like this?"
The girl looked at him for a few moments in complete silence, gathering her thoughts, searching for words.
Then she finally spoke, her voice rough, low, and extremely exhausted—worn down from long crying and hysterical screaming throughout the painful day:
"I lost everything I had in this world. My mother… my family… my village… my home… everything."
She paused for a moment, her voice trembling, then continued:
"And I no longer have any real reason to live or continue in this cruel world."
She stopped again, looked directly at him, then continued more clearly:
"You gave me the revenge I wanted. And even though it felt very satisfying and relieving at that moment…"
She paused again, pain visible in her eyes, then continued sadly:
"At the same time… all it left inside me now is complete emptiness. Nothing else. Just emptiness."
She went silent again for a moment, taking a deep breath, then continued in a firmer voice:
"So… I no longer have any real reason to live or continue…"
Then she looked straight at him with clear determination and said:
"Except for you."
Her gaze did not waver as she continued:
"You gave me my revenge."
She paused briefly, then said with complete clarity:
"If you don't need me for anything… if I have no use to you… then there's no real reason for me to keep living."
Her words were decisive, built on a strange but honest logic.
Dan looked at her, reading her eyes, analyzing her state of mind.
And he clearly saw that she truly believed every word she said.
She wasn't threatening him.
She wasn't trying to emotionally manipulate him.
This was a genuine and firm conviction—something she accepted as an obvious truth.
Then he thought to himself again, even more annoyed:
"This is really troublesome."
Because from what he could see of her personality—
If he left her here and walked away again…
She would end her life immediately, without hesitation or delay.
She would kill herself here, alone.
And her story would end.
In truth, from his perspective, she owed him nothing at all—and he owed her nothing either.
He had only helped her on a passing whim. Nothing more.
But now… if he let her die like this after everything that happened—
He would clearly feel that what he did had no real value.
And that feeling would bother him, even if only a little.
He let out a deep internal sigh.
Then he finally said in a calm voice:
"Alright. You can come with me, then."
Then he added in a more serious and warning tone:
"But don't ever regret this decision later. If you follow me, you'll be bound by many strict rules and heavy restrictions."
The girl answered immediately, without any hesitation, her voice firm and confident:
"That will never happen. I won't regret it, no matter what."
He remained silent for a moment, observing her.
Then after a few seconds, he asked:
"What's your name?"
She replied:
"Yuko."
He then took her small hand, still stained with blood.
"Alright, Yuko. Let's go."
And then—the two of them disappeared completely from their place.
Leaving behind only a hall filled with blood, torn corpses, and scattered ashes.
A witness to a bloody revenge.
The end of one chapter—and the beginning of another.
—
At almost the same time, in a distant location…
Inside the great and ancient base of the Senju Clan.
A middle-aged man with sharp, stern, and serious features stood firmly in front of a large gathering of powerful shinobi.
Then he began to speak in a loud, clear voice that reached everyone:
"The insane Uchiha are going to launch a major military attack in just two days!"
He paused briefly, letting the information sink in, then continued:
"Against the Land of the Blue Dragon—to seize control of the newly discovered large mine by force."
Then he continued in a firmer and stronger tone:
"And we must intervene with all our strength to stop this from happening. Otherwise, if they succeed in their plans—"
He paused, looked at everyone, then continued seriously:
"Their military power will increase greatly… and we will face very serious problems with them in the near future."
"I know all of you already understand this well."
He paused, then continued:
"But the reason I gathered you here today is for you to fully prepare for the coming battle."
"We will never allow the Uchiha to achieve this! We will intervene with everything we have to stop them!"
Then he raised his voice even more, asking directly:
"Do you all understand?!"
After a few moments of tense silence—
Loud, passionate shouts spread everywhere!
"Yes! Yes!"
"Patriarch! We won't allow those Uchiha bastards to do this!"
"We'll defeat them!"
"The Senju are the strongest!"
"Death to the Uchiha!"
The atmosphere filled with intense excitement and battle spirit—
Especially among the young and eager shinobi who were hungry for combat.
Except for one person.
A young man with slightly handsome and composed features stood quietly in the back.
There was clear concern on his face.
He didn't look excited like the others.
