"Alright... this is something my family must not interfere with."
Dan muttered to himself.
"Especially since the world currently has two individuals capable of defending it."
The two people who came to his mind were more than enough to handle whatever would unfold in the outside world without any intervention from his family.
At that very moment, while these thoughts were taking shape in his mind, Sato heard his father's voice reaching his ears as he worked in his office, from which he managed the affairs of the Walt Family. Over the past several years, Sato had assumed responsibility for managing the family on behalf of his father, who had gradually stepped back to devote himself to training, experiments, and the countless projects that consumed nearly all of his time and energy.
"Hello, my son. How have you been?"
Sato immediately answered his father's voice.
"I've been well, Father. Better than ever. How about you? Have you finished your project?"
"I'm close. Only a little remains."
Dan replied briefly before continuing.
"So, how have you found managing the family? Have you encountered any difficulties recently?"
"No, Father. Everything has been running smoothly. My older brothers and sisters have been helping me greatly with everything that requires cooperation."
Sato answered sincerely.
"Good. That's reassuring."
Then he continued directly.
"I contacted you because I have an instruction."
Sato's expression immediately turned serious.
"Yes, Father."
"There's no need for concern. It isn't anything dangerous. However, the world will soon experience several major events. I want you to order every family member currently outside the Blue Dragon Kingdom to return immediately and remain within its borders. Our family must not influence what is about to happen."
Sato listened carefully without interrupting or asking any questions. The instruction itself was perfectly clear, even if his father did not explain the events behind it in greater detail. He understood his father's way of doing things well enough to know that what he had been told was simply something that had to be carried out.
"Understood, Father. I'll see to it immediately."
After a brief pause, he hesitated before asking,
"What about my younger brother, Thorn? Especially his kingdom?"
Thorn was currently living with his wife, Hinako, in the small kingdom they had established near her original village. Although it lay far from the Walt Family's main sphere of activity, it was still part of the greater structure that had to be considered whenever a family-wide decision was made.
"As for Thorn, there's no need to worry. I'll contact him myself and explain everything. Besides, the kingdom ruled by his wife is small, isolated, and doesn't attract much attention, so its situation is somewhat different."
Dan fell silent for a moment before continuing.
"Still... it's time for him to return to the family. His daughter is now old enough to govern the small kingdom on her own. Furthermore, she recently married within the family, which means the kingdom's situation is now stable."
"Very well. You handle the task I assigned you. I'll speak with Thorn personally."
"Understood, Father."
The communication between Dan and Sato ended there.
That very same day, messages were dispatched from the family's headquarters to every member of the Walt Family scattered across different parts of the world beyond the borders of the Blue Dragon Kingdom. They all carried the same direct order:
The family was entering a period of seclusion. Everyone was to return immediately.
The message offered no explanation as to why such seclusion had become necessary. Yet not a single recipient questioned the order or chose to ignore it. Every member of the Walt Family understood that instructions of this kind were issued only when their father deemed them necessary, whether or not he explained his reasons. Their trust in his judgment and vision had long since become part of who they were.
Preparations began that very day. Family members across the world started arranging their affairs and preparing for the journey back to the Blue Dragon Kingdom, each according to their own circumstances. That was exactly what Dan had intended.
