Chapter 4 - The Celebration

Ji-Ah stirred against his chest, her fingers tracing lazy patterns on his skin. The afternoon sun had shifted, casting long shadows across her bedroom, and the warmth of her body pressed against him felt like the most natural thing in the world.

"I have to go," she murmured, her voice thick with contentment. "My son gets out at three and i need to pick him up."

Han Gyul kissed the top of her head, breathing in the scent of her hair, sex, and sweat and her perfume all mixed together. "I know."

She tilted her face up to look at him, and there it was again, that vulnerability, that fear that this might be the last time. "This isn't... you're not going to disappear, are you?"

He cupped her face in his hands, gentle and firm. "I'm not going anywhere, Ji-Ah. Go pick up your son and be his mom because I'll be here when you have time for me again."

Her eyes glistened. "You're too good to be true, you know that?"

"Just true." He kissed her softly. "Now go, before I convince you to stay."

She laughed, a real laugh, and pulled herself reluctantly from the bed. He watched her dress, drinking in every moment, the way her body moved, the soft curves and hidden strengths, the flush still lingering on her skin. She caught him watching and smiled, a private, satisfied smile.

"See you soon, Gyul."

"Count on it."

She left with one last look over her shoulder, and then the apartment was quiet.

Han Gyul lay in her bed for a long moment, staring at the ceiling, processing everything that had just happened. He'd lost his virginity and that to a beautiful, lonely, incredible woman. In her apartment. In her *marital* apartment.

The system's notifications were still waiting for him, but he pushed them aside for now. He wanted to hold onto this feeling a little longer, the warmth of her body, the sounds she'd made, the way she'd looked at him like he was something precious.

Finally, he got up, showered quickly using her expensive products, and dressed. He left her apartment with a last glance around, memorizing the details, then headed home.

---

The rest of the afternoon passed in a haze. He ate, he stared at his ceiling, he replayed every moment of their encounter in his mind. The system remained quiet, letting him process, and he was grateful for that.

By evening, he'd settled into a strange state of calm. He was reading on his phone, some webnovel about a guy with a system, the irony wasn't lost on him, when his phone buzzed.

Ji-Ah's name on the screen.

He answered immediately. "Ji-Ah?"

"Gyul." Her voice was breathless, excited, nothing like the careful HR manager he'd known. "I have news. Good news."

"Yeah?"

"You got the job." She laughed, delighted. "The marketing position I told you about. It's yours. They approved it an hour ago. You start Monday."

Han Gyul's heart swelled. It was real. All of it was real. The job, the money, the woman, his life was actually changing.

"Ji-Ah, that's... thank you. I don't know what to say."

"Say you'll come over and celebrate with me." A pause, then softer: "My son is with his father this weekend. I'm alone tonight and I don't want to be alone tonight."

He didn't hesitate. "I'll be there in an hour."

"Bring wine," she said, and hung up.

---

The moment the call ended, the system exploded with notifications.

**[NEW SKILL INTEGRATED: Confident Stride]**

Han Gyul stood up from his bed and immediately felt the difference. His posture shifted, shoulders back, spine straight, weight distributed perfectly. He walked to his small mirror and stared at his reflection. The man looking back didn't just look good—he moved like he knew it. Like he owned every space he entered.

"Fucking hell," he whispered. "This system is insane."

He had money now. Real money. More than he'd ever had at once. And he had a woman waiting for him, a woman who'd just handed him his life back. Time to celebrate properly.

---

He stopped at a luxury wine shop in Gangnam, the kind of place he'd always walked past without entering. Tonight, he walked in like he belonged there, because thanks to Confident Stride, he did.

The shop owner, an elegant woman in her fifties with silver hair and sharp eyes, looked up as he entered. Her gaze traveled over him, and he saw the exact moment she registered what she was seeing. A young man, impossibly fit, dressed well, moving with absolute confidence.

**[Target Detected]**

The system flashed, but he dismissed it. Not tonight. Tonight was for Ji-Ah.

"May i help you find something?" the woman asked, her voice warm with interest.

"I need the best bottle of red you have. Something to impress a woman who deserves it."

Her smile widened. "Follow me."

She led him to a temperature-controlled case and pulled out a bottle of 2015 Château Margaux. "This is 1.2 million won. It's perfect, rich, complex, unforgettable. Like the woman you're buying it for, I suspect."

Han Gyul didn't hesitate. "I'll take it."

Her eyebrows rose slightly at his immediate acceptance, but she recovered quickly, wrapping the bottle with professional care. As she handed it over, her fingers brushed his, and she held the contact just a moment longer than necessary.

"Come back sometime," she said. "I'd love to discuss wine with someone who appreciates the finer things."

He smiled, knowing exactly what she was offering. "I might just do that."

---

The taxi ride to Ji-Ah's building felt electric with anticipation. The bottle sat beside him, a million-won statement of intent. His body hummed with energy, with desire, with the absolute certainty that tonight would be something special.

She buzzed him up immediately.

The door to her apartment opened before he could knock. Ji-Ah stood there, and she'd changed since this afternoon. Now she wore a silk robe, deep burgundy, tied loosely at the waist. Her hair was down, falling in soft waves around her shoulders. She'd done her makeup, just enough to enhance, not enough to hide. She looked like sin wrapped in silk.

"You came," she breathed.

"And I brought wine." He held up the bottle. "The man at the shop said it was unforgettable and I figured that's what you deserve."

She looked at the label, and her eyes went wide. "Gyul... this is... this is over a million won."

"Worth every won for you."

She pulled him inside, closing the door behind him, and kissed him before he could say another word. Her body pressed against his, soft and warm and already hungry. When they finally broke apart, both breathing hard, she was smiling.

"Let me cook for you," he said. "To celebrate and it's my way of saying thank you for everything."

"You can cook?"

"I'm full of surprises."

---

The kitchen filled with the sounds and smells of preparation. Han Gyul moved through her space with easy confidence, finding what he needed, creating something from the ingredients in her fridge. Ji-Ah sat at the counter, watching him with an expression he couldn't quite read, wonder, maybe. Or disbelief that this was actually happening.

"You're different," she said quietly. "I noticed it yesterday, but now... you move differently and you talk differently. You're..."

"Becoming who I should have been all along," he said without looking up from the pan. "Turns out all it took was getting fired and finding someone worth changing for."

She was quiet for a moment. "I'm married, Gyul. I have a son. I have a life that doesn't include... this."

He turned to face her, meeting her eyes. "I'm not asking you to leave that life. I'm asking to be part of it. However you'll have me. Whenever you have time for me. I'm not here to take anything from you, Ji-Ah. I'm here to give."

Her eyes glistened. "Why? Why me?"

"Because you saw me when no one else did. Because you fought for me when you didn't have to. Because when I look at you, I don't see a manager or a wife or a mother, I see a woman who deserves to be happy, to be desired and to be *worshipped*."

**[System Notification]**

The blue text appeared, and he read it while keeping his eyes on her:

---

He smiled, slow and confident. "Let's have dinner first and then we will celebrate properly."

---

They ate together at her dining table, the million-won wine flowing freely between them. The food was good, he'd surprised himself with how well he cooked, but the real meal was in the conversation. The way she opened up more with every glass. The way her foot found his under the table and stayed there. The way her robe slipped slightly, revealing more of her chest, and she didn't bother to fix it.

By the time dinner ended, the bottle was empty and they were both buzzing, with wine, with anticipation, with the electric knowledge of what came next.

"Thank you for this," she said softly. "For everything, today, tonight... I haven't felt like this in years or maybe ever."

He stood, moving to her side, offering his hand. "We're not done yet."

She took his hand, let him pull her up. "What did you have in mind?"

"The shower," he said. "I want to wash the day off you. All of it, the stress, the loneliness, the years of feeling invisible. I want to make you feel like you're the only woman in the world."

Her breath caught. "Gyul..."

He led her to the bathroom.

---

The shower was enormous, all marble and glass and rainfall heads. He started the water, letting it warm, then turned to her. Slowly, deliberately, he untied her robe. It slipped from her shoulders, pooling at her feet, leaving her naked before him.

She stood there, letting him look, and there was no shame in her posture, only pride. Pride in being seen, in being wanted.

"You're so beautiful," he murmured, stepping closer. His hands found her waist, pulling her against him. He was still fully clothed, the contrast of fabric against her bare skin making her shiver.

"Your clothes," she whispered.

"Soon." He kissed her neck, her shoulder, the top of her breast. "I want to feel you first. All of you."

His hands roamed her body, rediscovering every curve, every secret place. She arched into his touch, moaning softly, her fingers gripping his shoulders through his shirt.

"Please," she breathed. "Please, Gyul. I need you."

He stepped back just long enough to strip. Then he pulled her into the shower.

The hot water cascaded over them both, steam rising, fogging the glass. He pressed her against the cool marble wall, the contrast of temperatures making them both gasp. His mouth found hers, hungry and demanding, and she answered with equal passion.

His hands explored her wet skin, sliding easily over her curves. He knelt before her, the water streaming over them both, and lifted one of her legs over his shoulder. She gripped the shower bar for balance, looking down at him with eyes wide with anticipation.

"Watch me," he said. "I want you to see."

Then his mouth found her pussy.

She cried out, the sound echoing off the tile. His tongue moved against her, finding every sensitive spot, learning her rhythms, her responses. The system's skills guided him, Lover's Instinct showing him exactly where to touch, how much pressure, when to slow and when to accelerate. Her fingers tangled in his wet hair, pulling him closer, her hips moving against his face.

"Yes... yes... oh god, Gyul, *yes*..."

Her first orgasm hit her like a wave, sudden and overwhelming. Her body convulsed against his mouth, her cries filling the steam-filled space. He held her through it, gentle and relentless, drawing out every moment of pleasure. When she finally stilled, trembling, he rose to face her. Her eyes were glassy, her lips parted, her body pliant and satisfied.

"That was..." She couldn't finish.

"We're not done." He lifted her easily, Vitality 95 in action, and she wrapped her legs around his waist, her back against the wall. He positioned himself at her entrance, and their eyes met.

"Look at me," he said. "I want you to see who's giving you this. Who's finally giving you everything you deserve."

She nodded, tears mixing with the water on her cheeks. "I see you, Gyul. I see you."

He pushed inside her.

The angle was perfect, deep, intense, the wall supporting her while he controlled the rhythm. She clung to him, her nails digging into his shoulders, her moans matching each thrust. The water cascaded around them, steam rising, fogging the glass, creating a world that contained only the two of them.

"Harder," she begged. "Please, harder. I want to feel you tomorrow. I want to walk into that office on Monday and feel you with every step."

He gave her what she wanted. What they both wanted. His thrusts grew deeper, harder, more urgent, and she met each one with desperate enthusiasm. Her second orgasm built quickly, and when it came, it triggered his own.

He came inside her with a groan, buried deep, holding nothing back. She clenched around him, milking every drop, her cries mixing with his in the steam-filled space.

They stayed like that for a long moment, connected, breathing together, the water still falling around them.

---

He carried her to the bedroom, still damp, still trembling. But when he tried to lay her on the bed, she stopped him.

"The window," she whispered. "I want to see the city. I want them to see."

His eyebrows rose. "Ji-Ah..."

"My husband never touched me in front of the window. Never wanted anyone to see. But I want *you* to want them to see. I want to feel like you're proud to have me."

He understood. This wasn't just about exhibitionism. This was about validation. About being claimed publicly, even if the public didn't know what they were seeing. He led her to the floor-to-ceiling window. The city sprawled below them, millions of lights, millions of lives. Anyone looking up at the right moment might see shadows, might imagine, but that was enough.

He pressed her against the cool glass, her breasts flattening against it, her hands splayed on either side of her head. The city glittered below them, indifferent to the passion unfolding in the penthouse.

"Look at them," he murmured against her ear, entering her from behind. "Look at all those people. Not one of them knows what you look like right now. Not one of them knows how beautiful you are when you're being fucked by someone who actually wants you."

She moaned, pushing back against him. "Gyul..."

He fucked her against the window, slow and deep, watching their reflections in the glass, her face contorted with pleasure, his body moving against hers, the city spread out like an audience below. Every thrust drove her harder against the glass, and she loved it. He could tell by the sounds she made, by the way she pushed back against him, by the desperate need in her voice.

"I'm close again," she gasped. "I can't... I've never come this many times..."

"You can," he said. "You will. Let go, Ji-Ah. Let them all see. Let the whole city know who makes you feel like this."

She came screaming his name, her body shuddering against the glass, and he followed her over the edge, filling her one more time.

---

They collapsed onto the bed, tangled together, both gasping. For a moment, neither could speak.

Then she rolled on top of him, straddling his hips, and he realized she wasn't done.

"Once more," she said, her voice hoarse but determined. "I want one more. I want to feel you inside me while I ride you. I want to control it. I want to take what I need."

He was already hardening again, Vitality 95 apparently included rapid recovery. She positioned herself, sinking onto him with a satisfied moan, and began to move. This was different from before. Slower. More deliberate. She was in control now, setting the pace, finding the angles that made her gasp. He let her take what she needed, his hands on her hips, her breasts, wherever she guided them. He watched her face as she used his body for her pleasure, and it was the most beautiful thing he'd ever seen.

She came above him, her inner muscles clenching, her head thrown back, her cry raw and primal. He came with her, helpless against the intensity of her pleasure. When she finally collapsed onto his chest, they were both utterly spent.

---

For a long time, neither moved. Neither spoke. The city lights glittered outside the window, and the only sound was their breathing, slowly returning to normal. Ji-Ah lifted her head first, looking down at him with eyes that held something new. Something deeper.

"Gyul." Her voice was soft, wondering. "I think... I think I'm falling for you. I know it's crazy. I know it's too fast. But I can't help it."

He cupped her face, stroking her cheek with his thumb. "Then fall. I'll catch you."

She smiled, tears glistening again. "Promise?"

"Promise."

Han Gyul stared at the notifications, his mind reeling. Thirty-one million won. A soulmate bond. A harem management interface. And in his arms, the woman who'd become his first.

"Everything okay?" Ji-Ah murmured, half-asleep against his chest.

He kissed the top of her head, feeling the new connection humming between them, a subtle awareness of her presence, her emotions, her very existence.

"Everything's perfect," he said. "More than perfect."

Outside, the city sparkled. Inside, Han Gyul held his first collected woman and smiled thinking about the future.
