Chapter 41 - Chapter 41 Each Person's Battle

As Blake's voice faded, a flare landed on the water not far from the sanctuary.

Before the girls could react to what Blake meant, a huge figure crashed onto the deck of the sanctuary.

Gerald, transformed into a hyena, roared to the sky.

His voice... was better left unmentioned.

Mandy, having experienced actual combat, was the first to recover, drawing the rapier at her waist and standing guard.

Seeing her attire, Gerald's eyes instantly lit up:

"I didn't expect there to be a female knight on this ship; these damned nobles really eat well!"

Gerald charged towards Mandy on all fours, his claws leaving scratches on the deck.

"Can your sword match my fangs?"

Mandy didn't respond, raising her sword to thrust at his inevitable path.

However, before it could hit, Gerald dodged it at a rather strange angle.

"Is it a beast's instinct?"

Mandy thought to herself.

She took a deep breath, recalling Blake's words during training, and tried her best to make her swordsmanship less rigid.

The clang of metal cut through the thick fog as Mandy's rapier sparked against the beast's claws.

"Girl, your sword is slower than a Marine's!"

Gerald roared and continued to pounce, but Mandy lowered her center of gravity, sweeping her long sword upwards.

"Screech!"

A wound was cut across Gerald's abdomen.

But for an Animal-type Devil Fruit user, this minor injury was not worth mentioning; instead, it fully ignited his ferocity.

Blake raised a hand to stop the CP agents who were about to step forward and capture Gerald, saying to the remaining three:

"These guys are yours. Let me see your growth."

As he spoke, the Hyena Pirates' main ship, the Fog Night Howler, had already pulled alongside. Poruk eagerly jumped onto the deck, with Crawford close behind.

Koala immediately leaped up, smashing a fist towards Poruk's position.

With a bang, the deck cracked like a spiderweb, but Poruk was no longer there.

"Little monster, why don't you join our ship? With Captain Hyena, you'll surely find the Great Treasure and become the Pirate King!"

Seeing Koala's immense strength, Poruk was a little excited, even considering recruiting her.

Despite his words, his actions didn't stop for a moment; the anchor chain in his hand swept directly towards Koala.

Koala rolled on the ground, dodging the attack, but half of her hair was cut off.

Seeing the opponent swinging the anchor, Koala, who already had combat awareness, made a decision almost instantly.

Cut him in the middle!

Whips, chains, even spears, Whitebeard's bisento... these long weapons become completely useless if an opponent gets within arm's reach.

As Koala tried to get closer, Poruk also decisively continued his attack.

Bang!

After firmly blocking an attack with her powerful physique, Koala reached out and grabbed the anchor chain.

She pulled hard, making Poruk stumble.

Koala leaped up, straddling Poruk's head, her legs wrapped around his neck.

On the other side, a sniper bullet whizzed past Robin's ear, but Robin smiled, unfazed:

"Your trajectory calculations are very precise."

"But for every 10% increase in fog humidity, the firing rate of a flintlock decreases by 0.3 seconds."

Crawford's expression changed, and he continued to raise his gun, preparing to shoot.

Robin's figure, however, had already disappeared behind the mast, only her voice echoing:

"The current humidity is 78%, and the wind speed is four meters per second!"

"Over here!"

Bang!

Crawford fired in the direction of the voice, but found no one there.

He looked around, then suddenly sneered, pointing his gun at Mandy, who was in combat:

"Since you won't come out, I'll deal with this girl first, then slowly play with you!"

With that, Crawford pulled the trigger.

The moment Crawford pulled the trigger, his gun barrel was suddenly twisted by an arm that had sprouted.

Bang!

Another gunshot, but the bullet hit the sail of the Fog Night Howler, piercing a large hole through the skull-emblazoned sail.

Robin emerged from behind the mast, and Crawford was both surprised and angry.

Angry that he was repeatedly toyed with by a young girl, and surprised that she dared to reappear so brazenly.

"I'm going to kill you, you arrogant brat!"

With that, he prepared to fire again.

Click!

A crisp sound, and the gun jammed?!

Taking advantage of his momentary Stunned, six arms sprouted from behind him, working together to snatch the sniper rifle, breaking off the scope.

Robin threw the sniper rifle to the ground. A row of arms grew on the deck, passing the sniper rifle to her, before she spoke:

"Flintlock rifles need their rifling cleaned every three shots, Mr. Sniper."

"This time it was just a jam, you're lucky. Next time, it might explode."

After speaking, she smiled and waved the sniper rifle in her hand, then turned and left, becoming the first victor of this battle.

Robin knew very well that Blake only wanted to see their practical combat abilities.

Now that she had confiscated the opponent's weapon, for most snipers in the Four Seas, he had already lost 90% of his combat power.

This completed her mission; the rest of the work could be left to the Slaves.

Noticing Robin's actions, Blake smiled helplessly, but didn't pay too much attention, waving for the Slaves to take Crawford away.

He himself looked at the sneaky Perona.

The little girl had just sprinkled some beads near the Pirate Captain, and now she had taken a bottle of chili powder from the kitchen.

Perona nimbly weaved through the melee, arriving in front of Poruk, who was grappling with Koala:

"Perona Sneeze Powder!"

A red mist erupted, and Poruk instantly became teary-eyed and snotty, pinned to the ground by Koala.

"Damn brat... Achoo! I'll... Achoo! Kill... Achoo!"

Perona ran past him, sticking out her tongue:

"Nyah nyah nyah..."

She also hooked a fishing hook onto Poruk's belt, the other end wrapped around the anchor's windlass... Mandy and Gerald's battle was nearing its end.

Mandy used her sword tip to pick up a nearby rope, ducking to avoid Gerald's claw swipe, while the rope was already wrapped around his leg.

She pulled hard, making Gerald stumble.

He tried to steady himself but stepped on one of Perona's marbles.

The marbles rolled on the deck, and Mandy seized the opportunity to thrust her sword, piercing Gerald's lung... Seeing the battle end, Blake finally stood up from his reclining chair:

"Not bad, it seems your training has been quite effective."

He pointed at Robin:

"Especially Robin, very calm, analyzing all of the opponent's next moves and planning accordingly."

Perona glanced at Robin, grumbling discontentedly:

"Annoying bookworm!"

Blake smiled and patted Perona's head:

"Of course, Perona also did well, assisting Mandy and Koala in defeating their opponents."

Perona was appeased by the compliment and immediately cheered up, pulling out another bottle of chili sauce and running towards Gerald, who had lost the ability to resist and was being restrained by the Slaves.

It was obvious what she was going to do.

Blake went to Koala, who needed encouragement the most, and picked her up:

"Koala was very brave today!"

Koala showed a happy smile:

"Thank you, Your Highness!"

For Mandy, the outwardly cold but inwardly delicate female swordswoman, Blake simply held Koala with one hand and patted her shoulder with the other.

Everything was understood without words.
