Chapter 42 - Chapter 42 The Story of the Princess, the Dragon, the Warrior, and Wang Haoran

The assessment results of the women were all very good, which greatly improved Blake's mood.

They continued their journey at sea, playing and having fun.

The sanctuary was gradually approaching the waters near Flevance.

It was at this point that Blake finally focused his attention on the sea chart.

"Huh? So Flevance is the name of a city?"

Blake was quite surprised.

He only knew that Law's birthplace was Flevance, known as the "White Town."

Oh! Thinking about it that way, it really is a city.

What surprised him even more was that Spider Miles was on the same island as Flevance.

Hearing Blake's surprise, Robin rolled her eyes at him:

"Indeed, the Celestial Dragons' pitiful brain cells are all used up on how to abuse Slaves."

Blake reached out to grab Robin:

"Alright, then I'll properly abuse you, my little Slave."

"Oh my, have the Celestial Dragons become so cruel that they demote their retainers to Slaves?"

Robin smiled, dodged him, and changed the subject:

"Pionbino Island is a super-large island with no unified government, but rather four kingdoms distributed in a fan shape."

"The Flevance that Your Highness is going to is located in the Luminosa Kingdom, and Spider Miles is a port city in the Trequillia Kingdom."

Blake listened with a blank expression, which reminded him of stories about princesses, dragons, warriors, and Wang Haoran.

What was all this?

After a moment of processing, Blake finally understood.

This was a super-large island, similar to Sandy Island where Alabasta is located, but it was divided into four kingdoms.

The city where Law was born and the city where Doflamingo was located were both on this island, but they belonged to different countries.

This also explained why in the original story, Law, who was only ten years old, quickly found Doflamingo after escaping from Flevance.

After clarifying the island's structure, Robin continued to explain:

"A large-scale infectious disease broke out in the Luminosa Kingdom a few years ago, and the other countries jointly blockaded the border, allowing entry but no exit."

"Of course, this shouldn't be a problem for you, if you're not afraid of infectious diseases."

Blake patted the fishbowls (helmets) on his head:

"This is the advantage of being a Celestial Dragon! No matter what kind of infectious disease, it has no effect in front of my spacesuit and fishbowls (helmets)!"

"I'll put them on you all later, and we'll go in and take a look."

After a pause, Blake ordered:

"Since that's the case, we can dock the ship directly at the port of Spider Miles."

"I'm very interested in this kinsman who was driven out of the Holy Land since childhood."

... The sanctuary slowly sailed into Spider Miles port.

Even the kings of the North Blue's allied nations knew Blake's whereabouts, so the more powerful Donquixote Family naturally learned of the Celestial Dragon's arrival long ago.

Doflamingo narrowed his eyes, looking at the extremely luxurious sanctuary, his expression unreadable.

"Doffy, this time the Celestial Dragon is here, could he be trying to take you back?"

Trebol asked cautiously.

His tone contained both reluctance to part with Doflamingo and a hope for him to live a better life.

Doflamingo, however, scoffed:

"Fufufufufu... I have no intention of returning to that suffocating birdcage."

The sanctuary docked steadily in the port, and Blake sat on a Slave, leading Stella and others off the ship.

Doflamingo was standing at the port, and beside him, both the Donquixote Family executives and the people of the Trequillia Kingdom were kneeling in a line.

To Blake's surprise, Doflamingo in his youth was not as flamboyant as he was in his adult stage.

His height was already close to his adult stage figure, his posture tall and straight with a hint of untamed arrogance.

His hair was still the iconic golden color, each strand standing upright, forming a sharp shape that gave him a rebellious feeling.

His eyes were long and sharp, his lips slightly upturned, with a faint, almost imperceptible evil smile.

It was as if he was constantly plotting something, or perhaps challenging all the rules of the world.

This was a character that one could tell at a glance was not a good person.

Blake looked around and noticed that there were not many people around Doflamingo, and Rosinante was not among the crowd.

He understood, it seemed Sengoku had not yet sent Rosinante back to Doflamingo's side as an undercover agent.

To be honest, this act of sending a younger brother to spy on his older brother was somewhat despicable.

But you have to admit, both Sengoku and Rosinante were one who dared to send and one who dared to accept.

Blake urged the Slave to approach Doflamingo, looking down at him:

"I've always heard about your family's affairs, and I've wanted to see it for myself for a long time. Only now do I finally have the opportunity."

"Fufufu... To be remembered by Saint Black, I am truly honored."

Doflamingo gave a false smile for a while, then gestured with his hand:

"Saint Black, please come in. I will host a welcoming banquet for you."

Blake nodded:

"Then I'll trouble you."

Doflamingo was visibly stunned for a moment, then let out another burst of "Fufufu" laughter.

Led by Doflamingo, Blake and the others arrived at the Donquixote Family's headquarters.

A banquet had already been prepared here. Blake and Doflamingo sat opposite each other, while the other members of the Donquixote Family stood quietly to the side.

Blake ate some food casually, served by Stella, then started the conversation:

"I remember seeing you in the Holy Land when I was little."

"You stole Saint Mark's crown to exchange for meat pies."

"I thought you were a restless fellow even then."

Doflamingo also recalled the memory from back then:

"Fufufu... That worthless junk was exchanged for three tons of Sea Kings' meat."

"Do you know what I hated most at that time?"

He answered his own question:

"Those foolish merchants, they actually believed that crown was a fake."

"Fufufufufu..."

Blake also smiled, bringing a piece of cod fillet to Stella's mouth.

A glint flashed in Doflamingo's eyes:

"Is this the style of the current Celestial Dragons? No wonder the World Government is becoming more and more like expired champagne."

This remark was clearly a probe after he observed Blake's attitude towards Stella, allowing him to advance or retreat.

If Blake didn't mind the sarcastic tone, he could roughly deduce Blake's personality and consider how to interact with him next.

Even if Blake showed displeasure, Doflamingo had a way to brush it off.

Upon hearing this, Blake's eating motion paused for a moment, then returned to normal.

He took out a handkerchief, wiped his mouth, and handed it to Stella.

Blake looked at Doflamingo, a half-smile on his face:

"Doffy, your expression now looks like a child whose cotton candy has been snatched away."

Doflamingo's smile froze.

After a moment, he shrugged:

"No choice. While you were having afternoon tea in the garden with your bubble helmets, I was already fighting for food with the wild dogs in the North Blue and on the sea."

"Indeed, Hogback's decision back then was a bit ill-considered."

Blake nodded in agreement, ignoring Doflamingo's increasingly grim expression, and continued:

"In my opinion, your family's tragedy was all caused by Hogback."

"He was just an idealistic person who didn't understand the ways of the world."

"However, in all fairness, he could die, but he shouldn't have died by your hand."
